ARAM is TOO "chill"

My name is Setier, I am Silver 2 so i am no pro by any means, but may I please get some feedback on everyones thoughts about ARAM. People take this game with not a glimmer of seriousness. I just played a game that was 3v5 and I kindly asked the enemy team to report them for the afk. I do not know about others, but I Love LoL and I Do care to win.

The response to this was ''who cares, I wont report them because its ARAM'', I was lost. Should not all players be punished for causing me and my other faithful 2 hardworking teammates the pleasure of having them reported/disciplined? YES it is ARAM but you should still play it like a normal game.

Personally I think if you are going to troll, or you internet is really bad(and you know it ~ 1400+ ping is not playable in ARAM like this guy in my last game). I believe in my heart Riot created Bots and Customs for a reason. Please use these game types as resources if you plan on just having 'chillax fun' or simply 'practice' new champs(for example your first game as that champion/you're really bad at them) this.. OR suggest Riot makes a more serious version of ARAM like draft pick and so forth(highly unlikely this will ever happen, but just a thought).

Thank you, I just want to know if there are people out there like me, that actually Care to win games. to Some players, this game means a lot. Please have the respect to use all given materials form Riot, customs and bots are great for what these players want and need.

You don't need to ask other people to help report someone, because reports don't stack.

If you feel that a player's behavior is reportable, then report it. That is all that it takes for Riot to mark their account and they will review that account after enough instances or egregious enough behavior.

ARAM is SUPPOSED to be casual and not as serious. Yes, report afks, but I don't get upset if someone plays poorly or if someone is having ping problems.

I'm all for having chill ARAM games, but if this involves having people AFK thanks to it, you can bet your ass I'll (as well as my friends) will report them. Because by chill I mean not tryharding, by not insulting people over playing a champ they have and never play and go 2/10/3, etc.

And the ARAM 'draft pick' is just kinda... pointless, considering you'd lose the all random aspect of it, lol. Unless it was a ARND (All Random Nemesis Draft), or something like that.

The honest truth is most of the players in ARAMs are BOTS - there is no point to reporting bots for AFK, riot doesn't really seem to care since bots don't clog up ranked at least, and life goes on. ARAM is really silly tbh, I don't know if it will be changed to be anything like you want it to be ... maybe try TT if you want a shorter game without quite as many bots and afks? I know its a sucky answer and I'm sure nobody else will tell it to you straight, lol, but that's the truth - ARAM is like 20% bots.

People will find an excuse if they want to. "It's just ARAM," "It's just Normals," "it's just Flex," "It's just a game," and so on. That shouldn't deter you from reporting behavior that you think is reportable.

On personal note, I do agree that many people don't give ARAM enough credit. Maybe because the randomness is more upfront? Or maybe simply because there isn't a ranked queue? That lack of an explicitly competitive queue actually makes ARAM more serious to me than SR/TT Normals. After all, players are specifically choosing not to play the competitive option in those modes. Meanwhile in ARAM, competitive players don't have that option.

the thing is most people play an aram after a tilting loss in ranked to cool off(get it it's a cold map XD) so of course no one will be tryharding it, although afk's are going to get caught regardless

I never plays ARAM i think it's full of bots and without any real challenge/rewards/fun. I don't really see the point of it, maybe some find it fun or something but i think nobody only plays ARAM.

Anyway i'm not really taking any strange game modes seriously like i hated the poro snowy thingy, I nearly only plays Summoner's Rift, either draft picks or ranked solo, i never play ranked flex neither and you'll only find me never surrendering in ranked, i mean i'll always try to win games but i can agree to surrender in normal drafts because i don't really cares to win i think normals are made for practicing new champions/strategies, don't get me wrong i'll always do my best to win and so on but i don't care at all if i loose a normal game.
