Despite riot saying the amount of reports in a single game doesn't matter. Most trolls and greifers don't get banned in the first place you should ask for 9 reports because maybe if they get 500 or more reports in a month riot will do a manual review.
This likely isn't how it works at all. If manual reviews are done (I don't know either way), I imagine it's by percentage of games reported in rather than by number of reports, and 1 report per game over 80 games is 100%, as is 9 reports over 80 games.
Given that asking for reports can cross over into harassment depending on how you phrase it and how often you say it, I'm wary of encouraging players to do this. The action itself isn't really reportable in moderation (a single "Hey, can you report X? He's calling me names" isn't likely to get you punished), but done often enough or in an overly aggressive fashion CAN, and a lot of players struggle to find that line.
Ive met the same trolls for more than 1year , some literally went 0/8/0 and afk 1/5 game on purpose (coz they hate someone) RIOT DONT CARE AND LET THE ROBOT DO THE JOB THEY ARE USELESS
