the report system

I'd like to share an instance with you. it might do you good to know so you could avoid these kinds of people.

It starts and champ select with me calling mid, i was zed and the last pick was to be an adc or so i assumed That might be my first mistake Lo and behold that the last pick turns out to be a Kat, not an adc first and foremost, but they didn't call a lane anyways. Assuming that she wanted to mid, i quickly changed to adc so our team could have a marksman for one, and so she could have mid without me or her having to go bot as an assassin. You might see where I'm going already... Kat wanted to be bot because her along with the rest of the quad who was matched with me had a play style she liked which included assassins bot and a friend to sup and back her up. i say that because she won as fizz bot, and wanted to try kat i suppose. nevertheless she calls me a derogatory homophobic word starting with F because i changed my role. that might be my second mistake but my third is actually to go bot with kat, instead of stay mid. So instead of going mid like an assassin and mid laner. Kat stays headstrong in her decision to be bot as if to spite me despite not having the chance to ride with bard and his horn. bard chose to mid. so as kat is taking hits constantly, i ask her to go mid which starts an endless fight involving not only her but the top lane as well. that is definitely my fourth mistake seeing as how everyone but the jg is upset with me (idk how bard is when he had extra farm) i decided to go back to my call as a mid laner, and leave the "adc" role to kat. fifth mistake? so as i do well with kills and assists, kat and top decide to feed unintentionally or not, but it is obviously tilt by then. long story short, they never stop blaming me, and even bard blames me for having to sell items and build support citing his early game was ruined. So in the end i get reported for "harassing" them, nobody muted anybody, but i didn't have a problem after i switched mid. i just asked them to be careful because she was 1/6 and quinn was already reaching 10 kills.

After being tired of playing norms and the people that play it, i try to find at least serious people in ranked.

No surprise that i am now chat restricted because the quad playing together all flocked to the Kat "adc"s side to defend her instead of simply admitting that she was wrong, not only for not calling anything, but for not simply going mid and avoiding that whole mess altogether.

My last mistake might be telling the new team that i received a restriction from my last team. they took their word that i was worthy of report, well atlas my adc did because after being matched against a mound and trust, lucian went full tilt popping off useless ults on mundo and heals when i was completely fine health wise, (but it gave him the chance to look like he was the one supporting me) so as we lost all turrets relatively fast after he gave up and started to flame me saying things like i suck, and that the last team was right to report me, i moved on to other lanes and actually helped them a lot more after which lucian stopped talking completely.

Am i really that worthy of hate? Is something wrong with me that i have to mute everyone, or stop talking altogether?

TL:DR If you make a call in champ select, stick to it and don't change if you know that its yours.(i know some people take that and auto lock, but thats not what i mean) If you get 4 people matched with you then sucking up is a viable option, that and muting never give people reason to think you're bad or worthy of report, because you WILL be a scapegoat and reported either way.

This has always been a part of league so i never think much of it, and my friends say its full of trolls too. Does riot have any idea, or way to fix this? i'd honestly pay to see riot employees deal with HALF the problems people normally face. I understand its practically impossible to deal with, but simplifying it or compartmentalizing it the way they do is terribly inefficient and ultimately unjustified.

The only reason i still play is because i hope to reach a level where afks, trolls, children, and raging flamers can't reach. I love the mechanics, the math, and the strategies involved. I don't want to give up simply because of other people i play with that make this game's community so toxic and terrible.
