repealing perma ban

Has the account been punished in the past?

Asking since the use of hate speech usually results in a 14-day ban on a fresh account.

Here is how the punishment system usually escalates:

  • 10-game chat restriction
  • 25-game chat restriction
  • 14-day ban
  • permanent ban

However, when hate speech is involved, the chat bans are skipped since the behaviour is too severe.

I mean it's kind of obvious you were being super toxic and calling people slurs. What do you need help understanding? You know this behavior is not acceptable in society or in game. Spending money on RP doesn't excuse your behavior, nor does it give you a grace period to act however you want.

This is NA dude, you should know better than to call people that. Especially in a negative context like blaming them for the game being harder.

Don't use derogatory terms for any group of people. This is common sense, and something you should have learned long before you were old enough to play this game.

Riot doesn't tolerate use of language that you should have known better than to use in the first place. As such they give an escalated punishment instead of the usual chat restriction.

Also if you have had a previous 14-day ban then you were on thin ice and should have been aware of this. Any punishable behavior no matter how minor, would result in a permanent ban because that is the next step in the progressive punishment system. The fact that you used hate speech only makes it worse for you. There's no way that Riot is going to repeal this ban.

Flaming is bad enough, and these logs are worth a punishment. The hate speech is icing.

I assume you've had a 14-day ban before this point, since you're getting a perma now. It's deeply unfortunate that you didn't learn a lesson about flaming your teammates from that ban.
