[EUW] Edsalter Permanently banned. Apology and basis of a return appeal.

Hello, my name is Edsalter. Coming close to approximately nine months ago I was banned from League of legends Permanently for toxicity.

I know full well what I did was not in the slightest correct behaviour, not only did it end up impacting upon myself but during the time and playing other games i realised just how much it actually affected others, hearing and seeing people being toxic led me to not only feel remorseful but feel like I had to do something about it. I have been toxicity free for just over 6 months now, well what I consider to be free from toxicity. Look, I won't sit here pretending as if I'm an angel because like nobody else, I'm not. I feel as if its time I can make a return to the league community and try to positively impact upon it as much as possible.

For those who will judge and that'll probably be the majority of you with good reason, I am happy to stream every second I play of the game as I am currently doing as further proof that can be observed I am serious about what I say. I won't please and beg for it back because there are bigger things to life, but that does not disregard the importance of what I am saying by posting this.

I hope you will give feedback and consider what I have said. Sorry to those who i have affected in the game, i hope to meet you sometime and make amends! I will leave a poll below so that you can voice your opinion objectively, Thank you for taking the time to read this. Good luck on the rift!

P.S. Streaming approximately 6ish hours each day up until new years. "esalter11" on twitch.

No. Stay banned. If you were permabanned for toxicity, then rightfully so. Tired of all these "I'm so reformed pls unban Rito kthxbai" posts here.

If you care about the game, create a new account, level it up and prove the game means something to you and you really are reformed. Everything else is just a sorry excuse for "I want my account back and will lie and say whatever it takes to get it back".

I am not saying that I am completely reformed, nowhere in what I said stated explicitly "I am reformed". I have no excuse as I have said for what I did, neither in any part of what I said did I lie or make excuses. If you read the title of the actual post it sums it up, its an apology and the basis of an appeal, not what you seem to be making it out to be.

On the matter of creating a new account, I already have, I did a number of months ago, the only way in which I am going to get any attention coming in for the idea of "reformation" is by making a post such as this. I would suggest reading properly before trying to shoot things down in flames for reasons which are not contained within the content of the post, thank you for your feedback however it will be taken into consideration. :D

B.s. All I'm reading from your post is: "Hey I am good now. Pls give me my account back." As a reformed player, you should know the rules. You should know that you aren't going to be unbanned just because you said you're reformed. It doesn't work that way, and your plea to get unbanned is an insult to everyone who got permabanned and truthfully reformed, made a new account, and proved it by making a new account and not getting any punishments any more.

I am reading every post very carefully, don't worry. Everything I said, and every word was chosen very carefully. That just underlines the b.s. I smell when I read your post, because that's really all it is. Telling people "Hey I reformed" and begging for your account back. There is no basis for an appeal, and there won't be. Deal with it or leave the Rift. End of story.

Welcome back, Edsalter! Go ahead and make a new account and level it up. Outside of a few extreme cases, like threatening someone IRL, shit like that, you're always free to rejoin the community as level 1. You might be missing a few skins or champs from your old account, but well, you kinda will never get those back, so best to rip that bandage off now and put your nose to the levelling grindstone! Move on to a glorious new account! I want you to take the following picture to heart ^_^

Good job on reforming. Although I don't speak for riot, I would submit a ticket pleading your case as well. I can't guaruntee anything but you might catch someone in a good mood who has the power to reduce your punishment on your permad account. I might give the stream a watch or two myself since I'm not doing anything particularly important.

No need to waste your time or the time of the support. Riot does not remove bans for toxicity unless there was a mistake. They once did such an experiment, and it was a catastrophic failure.

They do not lift such bans anymore, your chances of getting your account back are non existent. All you do is getting your hopes up to get them smashed again.

While it doesn't hurt to try it's clear that he does deserve a punishment. Coming on here and saying sorry doesn't undo what he did. If he reform he can always make a new account and start with that.

They reduce punishments when the system was to harsh = made a mistake. They do not revert justified perma bans, and thats quite a difference.

I can agree with you that some people are unwitting and I would like to thank you for your support on the matter, but I cannot agree with you that the system is toxic, look it has its flaws but it does the correct job and it was down to my own fault what happened. Yes, i believe you should have the skins you paid for etc but oh well "shit happens" as people say. Thanks for your input on the situation which offered an intriguing view, i will take this into consideration :)

You did not pay for skins. You paid for Riot points, and you got those Riot points. You got those Riot points and the possibility to use them under the condition that you adhere to the rules set by Rito. You agreed to these rules, then you broke them repeatedly.

Why would you deserve anything back? Go to a cinema, a club, whatever, pay the entry fee, then break the rules there (by insulting other customers, pretty much like in league) and you get thrown out with no chance to get your money back. In this case, you bought your "entry" and you were allowed to keep it under the condition you do not piss off everyone around you. Same in LoL. You got the Riot points under the condition you dont piss everyone off. You broke this agreement that you agreed to, and you do not deserve any money back in any way.

it's not like "shit happens" as this would indicate that things were out of your control. It's like "you did shit" and now you simply face consequnces...

If these cinemas/clubs/Rito were to give you your money back, imagine how a it would be visiting those places. Everyone who wanted to leave would behave like an ape and throw with shit to get the money back.
