People don't talk enough and then complain if someone "talks too much"

I think the real issue I have, is a failure for people to be effective. Not everyone can carry, not everyone will have a perfect time in their game. But, if you don't talk with them about things that would let you work with them, it leads to failure and having a glorified minion on your team.

In my last ranked game, I noted two things. The ADC liked to run off alone and die, and I don't move as fast as the ADC (Vayne is naturally swift). I spoke with them, repeatedly about it. At about 0/7 in the ADC's score, I called them out by telling them to stop being alone. Not toxic either, literally just "Stop leaving the team, I can't support you when you are alone".

At the end of the game (We ended up winning, Orn and Taric too tanky), she was 10/11 and told me I talk too much. I do, admittedly, only in transit to lane or when I knew I could. Instead she couldn't even ping.

I frequently use discord, and outside of ranked force my friends who duo/team queue with me to use it. I won't have people making stupid decisions on account of poor communication. But in ranked, you can't demand voice chat, you sometimes don't want people to have that. Toxic people, those who harass, etc.

But in general, I would like for people to discuss why they think its acceptable to not try and communicate a change in order to win. The ekko in that game worked with me and we eventually made up for vayne, but vayne really didn't try to work with us. Why is it unacceptable to talk?
