Summoners Code Section VII.. So why ban then?

VII - Be Resolute, not Indignant

Remember that this is a competitive game, and, more often than not, the other player is just venting their frustration. Try not to take it personally. Everyone has a breaking point and everyone rages sometimes. At some point you may find yourself in the other person's shoes.

So... why do you ban people? If its nothing personal and everyone has a breaking point..... make a perma mute option. Stop crying.

Because they can control what they type in chat. No excuses.

This doesn't mean they're push overs. They're resolute, not indignant in how they look at player behavior. They don't accept that you're a "jerk". They do accept that you lose your cool every now and then. The game is viewed as a sport. Athletes get heated over a game now and then, even some of the best of them. That doesn't mean you get to be a jerk every game. There's a process. They don't just ban you for no reason. It's been repeated, horrible behavior that NO ONE would tolerate from you if you were playing another sport... Would you play basketball with a guy screaming at his own team mates and telling them they're shit? NO. Baseball? NO. Why would it be acceptable here? Cause it's online? a video game? Any excuse you want, just cause you're anonymous doesn't give anyone the right to treat people like shit.

I like this one. Unlike the last thing i saw labeled as VII, this one is not that bad. The other one was bullshit to the bone!!!
