Riot doesn't give a sh*t about bad behavior, but only if you're PC?

In the past week I have had games with particularly bad players. Feeding, going afk because the jungler didn't gank properly and died trying and one guy just stayed in the fountain after the 10 min mark because he just gave up and didn't wanna play. I reported each one of these players and I feel like the other people on my team did too, but guess Riot doesn't give a rats a*s, no matter how horrible you are.

Then yesterday some guy used a slur in chat, but wasn't racist other than that at all, nor was he toxic for the rest of the game, but I reported him for it and wow, what do you know, I got a notice literally the moment I logged in again... All those horrible people people making my life a nightmare ALL GAME and they ban him for one word. I'm not saying he was okay to say it, but is that all Riot cares about? Do they really not care how bad you are or how toxic you are?

feeding, if unintentional, is not a punishable offense

afk is punished by LPQ, for the majority of the case, which will gives you neither notification nor any "visual" indicator that someone is on LPQ. There is 0 way to tell if someone got punished for afk unless he literally tell you

You do not always get the IFS message. It is very inconsistent and best not to rely on that for validation that others have been punished.

I'm not saying he was okay to say it, but is that all Riot cares about?

No, but Riot takes racism, homophobia, and other discriminatory terms (AKA zero-tolerance phrases) very seriously and will warrant severe punishments in the form of an instant 14-day ban.

"Do they really not care about how bad or toxic you are?" Do you think a game developer would seriously ban their own playerbase for being bad at their game? Shit man. Get real. Theyre trying to make a profit. And yes they obviously care about toxicity, people get punished for it every day.

Yep, chat is much more important for handing out punishments than gameplay.

As has been said on this board many times before, it's far easier for the algorithm to detect and punish toxic chat than for it to determine the intent of gameplay.

If you have a strong issue then do more then report and whine.

Pull up the summoner on op.gg or some site like that.

Find out if this is a one time thing or not.

Open a support ticket and CLEARLY EXPLAIN IT

"I played with this player who said I missed my Q, and then he sat in fountain all game afk and insulting us, moving from time to time. I looked at his match history, he has a simaler pattern of losses and remakes because of him, low KDA ect."

Riot will have a real person look into it and reply to you with such, but they can't tell you what they are doing.

If you want to know, bookmark the account, and watch them on op.gg

I just looked at mine, and I have 6 being watched and 16 that have gone dark recently.

No feedback for me, but not one of thsoe 16 accounts played a game the day after I got a reply from riot.

I suspect the same will be true of these other ones.

Good luck.
