I'm just gonna post the logs unedited,

  1. My question here is why are we not allowed to analyze the game in "post game chat"?

  2. If someone is trying "unconventional" strats, why am i not allowed to dodge the game without penalty?

  3. Is there a proper way to handle someone coming into champ select saying mid or feed (or some other variant of this) whats your recourse play the whole game and report them after?

  4. Is there a way to express my frustration without it being "toxic"

  1. Because you weren't analyzing the game, you were blaming. Giving advice, pointing out what could've gone better? Fine. Blaming and flaming? No.

  2. Because there is no enforced meta.

  3. Yes - give them mid, or don't. If they feed in game, report them.

  4. You're allowed to express frustration.. but not by flaming or blaming others.

I feel your pain mate, it sucks to get toxic teammates and then have to try to keep your cool. I wrote a bit about it a while back, this might help you out, check it out if you're interested:

Also, here's something I wrote about more recently that's not in that post, verb tense.

Verb tense affects how people perceive what you say, even when both you and they are not aware of the difference it makes. It's subconscious.

Past tense is used to attribute credit/blame for things which already happened. Thus it is safest to never use past tense to talk about something someone did wrong. Made this mistake with a friend of mine recently and oh boy did it go badly. Trust me, don't use past tense unless you plan on giving credit for something good that happened. otherwise you're just begging for people to become combative with you.

Present tense is for talking about values. This can be seen when people say "unlucky" when their ally dies. It's helpful to use to align people to your values, by showing sympathy for their perspective you can sometimes set them up to be more receptive to advice you give right afterwards.

Future tense is where the magic happens. If you can keep talking about what to do next time and talk about how it will work rather than talk about how they should have avoided X, then you will keep them oriented on the goal of playing better, and they will not subconsciously feel the need to stop and argue with you about if it really was their fault or not.

If you must rage then do so at the screen or into a pillow or something instead of in the chat. Doing this allows you to vent your frustrations without compromising your teams chances of success.

Just like any other frustrating thing you may encounter in life, one of the best things to do is to find someone to talk with. Someone who loves and values you will certainly take the time to listen.

If you go to a wise person, they may be able to help you learn how to interact with your emotions.

If you go to a smart person, they may be able to find a solution to the things that frustrate you.

I'm not going to read all that, but the way to vent frustration to the team causing it without getting banned requires a few thigns:

A. It needs to be constructive. Telling someone they suck is bannable. Telling them to stop chasing in the jungle isn't. B. It needs to have poetic flourish. You can't say "stop fucking around in the jungle." You should say something like "If people stopped having a picnic at the Red Buff we might not be getting dumpstered." Picnic in the jungle is my favorite phrase. C. Be a shot gun, not a sniper rifle. Talk generally. You're fucking ridiculous = bad. This is fucking ridiculous = less bad.

I also like to say things such as

you need to look at the map twice as much as you are right now We need towers not kills, group mid Dragon is not the priority right now, we need towers Join the Nintendo Fun Club today, Mac! Towers are more important than your IRL children Keep one eye on baron Stop Typing

Nope, RIOT says frustration is not allowed yet they do everything in their power to increase it with this bullshit system.
