Hey guys, After challenging my 14 day ban and I have been permanently banned for '3rd party software'. PRAETOR44 a support worker, responded to my ticket and issued me with a ban without giving me ANY evidence as to my account's termination. This is my second account that has unlawfully being banned and I am starting to believe that they are banning me because they KNOW i'll keep coming back to the game. I am not toxic as indicated in my previous discussion regarding my ban, I do NOT cheat, but I am passionate about ranked and now Riot has once again slapped their loyal player base in the face. I am currently awaiting a response for Riot. Fingers crossed they accidentally banned me -.-

More than likely, during their investigation into your 14 day ban, they found evidence of account sharing/boosting/scripting. They don’t release specific information as to what was found, as that would give script writers information as to how it was detected.

Riot never gives proof when it comes to 3rd party program bans. Its so creators of those scripts wouldnt know how they got caught.

Unfortunately, what the others have said is correct. With many of the third party programs, if Riot were to reveal how they were detected, then it would be a dead giveaway to the people who create those programs how they were being discovered and they would simply change up how they make them. The only way Riot can consistently discover these programs, is by not revealing their methods. I'm sure it seems very unfair to players, especially for the players who honestly don't even know what program is causing them to be banned. While the majority of the players banned for third party programs are actively using cheats, not all of them are. Some are using skin modifications and do not realize that their particular software has additional functions that are banned by Riot. Others are using macros that give unfair advantages. Others let another player use their computer and didn't realize that the other player downloaded a cheat onto their computer, and it gets associated with the client, even if they never actively try to use it on their account. Unfortunately for the players in the latter categories, an ignorance of the situation doesn't excuse them from having an unfair advantage over other players, or the potential to have one.

It's not that Riot simply looks for players to ban regularly. Riot is concerned with keeping the playing field as fair as possible. And that means not letting players have access to these unfair programs in game. So, whenever they are discovered, those accounts are weeded out. Not immediately, as that would also be a giveaway to the creators, but in waves. Usually every few weeks-months there is a wave of bans for one of the major categories. That is how Riot keeps the cheating down, and lets all players earn their ranks on their abilities, rather than on their software.

this is your second account? if you bought the account and someone used a bot to level it you'll be banned even if you personally didnt use 3rd party software after you bought the account.
