Some player like to troll with spamming surrender votes. Having this spammed every time it is off cool down destroys the moral and fun of games. We could limit this behavior by allowing someone to be able to call a surrender vote no more then three times a game.

edit: It was propose down below to increase the cool down timer as an alternative solution.

That'd probably just result in them begging everyone else to start the vote at the very least.

How about a slight compromise, increase the forfeit cooldown timer for an individual, but keep it the same or even lower it for others to start it. For example;

  • Each individual player can only start a /ff every 5 minutes.
  • A player that isn't on their 5 min timer can start one 2 or 3 minutes after another was made.

Using a feature of the game within it's specified cooldown is not punishable, nor should it be.

Do something productive then. People only want to surrender games they think are lost. If you're just spinning your wheels every 2 minutes accomplishing nothing, then it's pretty much lost. Wins do not fall out of the sky; you have to go an get them.

You're confusing the people who are giving up easily with the people who are actually trolling. Give people some hope by accomplishing something together, and it'll stop.
