15 Games, 12 Afk's or Rage quits.

This is just getting ridiculous. Im seriously stumped on how we are supposed to have a healthy community when players who routinely rage quit or just fail to connect are not being punished or pushed to improve. I have been stuck in this Ello for more then 150 games now. Im recognizing names and seeing the same people who quit after the first gank play in my same games over and over. If im not allowed to dodge according to riot, what the hell am i supposed to do?

If you are not overly toxic, there are more afk in the opponents team than in yours.

Also it seems to me that the reason you can't climb is your artistic and original yet ineffective way of building and picking your masteries :

Understandable that my builds can be unique. My problem however is not the builds. If i lose because im playing around with the builds thats one thing. However Im getting players that have long history of afk'ing and Repeat rage quits and im getting them over and over. There is a problem with the system and it needs to be addressed.

Playing on EUW on a silver 5 account I've had 0 afk in my lasts 20 games (on my team). There have been afk on the other team but it was because i was crushing the game quite hard, it's not like their afk lost the game, game was lost, then they went afk.

AFKs exist in Europe to the same extent as NA If you're losing because of builds, masteries, afks fix the problems you can, and like magic afks will stop existing

See? That is the problem here. You had a bad matchmaking in your favor to begin with (which should never happen according to you) and your enemies had to lose because of their bad mates. In an upper post you said "as long as you don't troll yourself, your chances are higher". According to that, nobody trolled intentional, yet had to lose and then ragequitted.

You are prolly saying you were fine and the enemy not. Now imagine the OP is on the enemy sides that were crushed and had the leavers. OP is not overly toxic, and maybe fix his built, but still loses like that. Is his opinoin and experience now invalid?

In other words: You just showed how flawed your logic is. Player X and Z of your opposing teams might have left because of a "lost game", yet they lost and left. Player W, Y and V however were dragged down by this leaver, and they might be the friendliest guys on earth. Now what? Explain how this matches your reasoning?

As said, probability is one side of the coin, the other one is to use that cheap reasoning all over when people say they have a leaver streak. I am here since 2010 and this is getting old.

I'm a diamond playing on a silver 5 account, of course i'm supposed to win most of my games, this is where the flaw is.

The point i was trying to make is most of the afk are not the root cause of the lose, the fact your are losing is the root cause of the AFKs. So if I crush every game my team's moral is high and they tends to not go afk. Whereas if the team gets crushed the moral is low and then people tends to afk.

So you can't be like "omg I had 15 afk, it means I would have won 15 more games", the truth is you would probably have won 2 or 3 of these games maximum if they didnt afk. Thus not being enough to change your ranking by more than one division.

The upper portion is a cheap reasoning. That's saying nobody dies in plane crashes because it's the safest way of travel but rather should die in a car crash because "statistics".

In many games I have premades that often leave (playing over the same connection, LAN party, etc.) and I can not pull the weight of several players.

There is NO RULE in the universe saying that you will win more games because you do not consider yourself a troll. Probability chances are there, but they DO NOT HAVE TO APPLY, for example, changes are that you have 26 leavers in the next 13 games. So if you come up with your cheese, consider there are people telling you their horror stories you Whiteknights never want to damit exist.

While you are right, the world is RULED by statistics.

Every decision Riot will take is by DESIGN to statisfy the larger part. If their system works for 99% of the players it's okay.

The way society works is "ok" for 99% of the people, the last 1% are the outcasts, it's sad but it's how it works.

If you are in these 1% in LoL i feel sorry for you but, there's no point discussing this topic since it works this way by DESIGN.

stop playing ranked. i did. the system is broken to begin with, then when you add all the stuff you mention, it just falls apart.

I got a similar experience as the guy above.Thank god i'm going to work for the summer season.This ranked system is a joke beyond jokes.I was Gold 4 with 83 LP and a 50.6 winning rate.I was having good or bad games.It doesn't matter who won.But getting afkers/griefers in 25 our of 30 games IN MY TEAM ONLY?

I can't accept that.
