Will previous ribbon owners get anything when the new honour system ships?

I don't know man. It's a bit weird for me, it was kinda a season goal for me to reach honour status last year personally, and I get that having everyone start a new leaf is exciting, but for me now that the system is been reworked people are just going to assume that everyone wants some personal gain out of it.

You guy's have thrown icons around, I haven't cared about most of them, but for me this one would be the one that counts. I really hope something would be put in place.

Honour compels me.

Why do people do anything? Hint: it's for their own personal gain (even when people donate to charity).

Plenty of people are going to abuse the new system, for sure. They'll climb to Level 3 Honor and reap all the rewards, then go back to being toxic. Then they'll get banned.

You want recognition for your sportsmanlike behavior? Keep being honorable and you'll get the new border ribbons and in-game emotes. When you think about it, requesting something that gives you recognition for being honorable is petty and arrogant. You should continue to be honorable regardless of the situation because_ it's the right thing to do_.

I think in this case the OP isn't saying that he's only being sportsmanlike for the rewards. I think it's more feeling appreciated for being one. If we are truly honorable, we will eventually get the recognition that is deserved. I personally don't really care for the recognition, but I completely understand where the OP is coming from.
