Player wishes cancer and death upon my entire family, yet continues to play
After 3 years of being gone it has been a rough start to returning to League of Legends. The reason I initially quit playing was due to all the players who intentionally trolled and ruined the game and never received actual punishment other than a 2 day break from the game. So these players would continue this cycle ruining the game for others over and over because they never have to worry about their account being banned due to Riot not wanting to lose players who are buying through the store and putting money in their pockets. What they do not understand is they are keeping these players around who do not belong and losing the core players that keep this game going. While adhering to these trolls is ruining the game and players admit this in games over and over again. You cannot go 5 games without someone upset about the players in this game intentionally ruining the game.
If this was taken care of there would not be so many players who act this way in the game. League of Legends used to be a very great community of players back when it first released and when players were irrational in game and acted this way you could search their name days later and find out the account was actually banned. Recently i played with a character who wished cancer upon me and my entire family. He continually fed the enemy team one death after another and purchased tears all game until it was over. The reason he did this was because i stated pregame "I hope we win this game this is my last promo" He retaliated with "I'll make sure that does not happen." In which he did. He went straight to the mid lane with me and intentionally fed my lane enemy by walking up to him and hitting stop so he would not attack. We lost the game and he admitted to the behavior in chat. I took to the report option after the game thinking this should be a for sure ban. No it was not. He still plays to this day and probably does this to other players and Riot does not care. Since then i do not disclose if i am in a promo and just hope for the best luck.
When you can not rank up due to constant teammates intentionally feeding, trolling as a ability power ADC, or trolling support as a non support champion without repercussions, this game gets ridiculous. Between trolls, feeders, and rage quitters, racist's in game, and people wishing death in real life to you and you'r family only to see them continue playing to this day it becomes near impossible to get promoted due to trolls. However due to the lack of actually banning accounts because i am sure it would "hurt" revenue these people continue to do this. The game is getting repulsive to play while they allow this behavior and do not ban accounts. I hope the in game store money earned from these trolling players is worth the chances of losing the majority of the core community because it is happening. Give it 3 years Riot and this behavior will catch up with you and numbers will continue to fall.
Just my honest opinion on all of this. At this point i still play league of legends in hopes of Riot actually turning a new leaf and taking care of these issues in game. However since i quit before i think things have gotten worse. So if things do not change soon i may be uninstalling the game and moving on like the rest of my gaming community I am involved in. I have a core of about a dozen players who like to play together and they have all moved on from this game due to the behavior of these other players. One day i would love to get them back into League of Legends by explaining things have changed and hope for a return as playing with them has been some of my funnest gaming experiences on League of Legends. Too many people are being burnt right now so Riot can line its pockets. Otherwise why else would they allow an account to continue playing on its servers that wishes death and cancer upon a teammates entire family? Unless Riot is okay with that behavior? Maybe that is the case though since this player still is involved in it's community.
