[Spirit Guards] - The EUW friendlist
Spirit Guards is not a new concept. It was started back in 2013 but was not followed up by its leaders, so the thread eventually died out. I will try to keep it alive for a bit longer this time, so that people can continue to use its amazing benefits.
Spirit Guards are people who pledge to play together with others without flaming or causing harm to their team. They also pledge themselves to being sportsmanlike towards their opponents and following the Summoner's Code. A true Spirit Guard will have a vision to play to give their opponents a good fight rather than just winning.
To become a Spirit Guard, all you have to do is tell me, and I will jot you down on the friendlist below. As you play with other Spirit Guards, they can recommend you on this thread, and you will gain stars. If you are found to break the rules of the Spirit Guards, you will lose stars, and if you have none, you will be removed from the friendlist. You will then have a one month cooldown from being able to be reassigned to the friendlist.
Spirit Guards will:
- Apologize if they are rude or inconsiderate towards others
- Communicate with team when necessary
- Point out mistakes only if given permission, and always in a respectful way
- Try to reverse tilt* when they see it in a teammate (a short guide to this can be found below) - *Tilt: Letting your emotions cloud your judgement, basically. Being angry or cocky are examples of this
- Try their best at all times/not give up
Spirit Guards will not:
- Be rude or inconsiderate towards others
- Play when they are on tilt
- Talk about reporting someone ingame, even if they deserve it
If you want to be a Spirit Guard, you can be signed on this EUW friendlist, which anyone that is also a Spirit Guard can add you from, making it easier to have positive experiences ingame (especially since you can now play with a full Spirit Guard team in ranked):
