Fixing the problem of toxicity

I was recently banned from this account due to toxic behavior and my most recent (and final) ban was the time where I was most inflammatory based on what I saw in my chat. BTW I'm not proud of what I did I'm just sharing to give context. I said some pretty terrible things to my teammates and feel really bad about it. HOWEVER, This thread isn't to beg Riot to give my account back that had thousands of hours of games played and hundreds of dollars spent on the game. No. This isn't what it's about at all. Rather I'd like to address the "why" behind toxicity in League of Legends (and negativity in general). I did some pondering on why I got banned and why I felt so frustrated with League of Legends as a game and why I was so frustrated by ranked solo queue. I promise you I'm genuinely a nice person who is enjoyable to be around in real life. In League of Legends however... I'm a TERRIBLE person and I don't think anyone would ever guess I'm actually toxic in League of Legends based on how I act in real life.

I had to do some deep thinking about what really was causing this amount of frustration in players that they'd feel like trolling or acting childish to get there way. And Before we dig into why the community is actually sub-par we have to accept a couple of things: #1. League of Legends players are not inherently any better or any worse than the rest of the population of the world. #2. The community is of much too large of a sample size to be considered anything more than a product of it's environment (which is stress inducing and frustrating IMO)

Imagine a situation where you get trolled by a teammate. You are in dynamic queue, pick jungle, and lockin ready to play the game. Your last pick picked "nunu support" with flash smite and is running around flashing over walls stealing your buffs and camps just to obstruct your personal sucess in that game. The game's 3 minutes in and you have to deal with this Son of a you know what for the next 17 minutes (or more if your team doesn't surrender @20) while he is victorious in his reign of terror. You also can't chose to discontinue the game with your teammates and you can't AFK or leave the game because leaver buster will detect you. I feel like we get bullied into finishing games because we're scared of punishment. I sometimes play Chess for fun. I can only imagine how much it would suck if I were punished into finishing the game or else I can't play a competetive chess game ever again. That would be very stressful and annoying. Unfortunately we're stuck in this realm where we have no tools to deal with pople WASTING our time. If a teammate gives up and is not even really playing the game anymore why should we be required to Stay in the game? No. Is there a way to fix tihs problem? Yes. Do I know the answer? No.

What are your guys's opinions on this matter?
