Why i cant play support when i get autofilled

Every other role is based on killing things, the support role is based on protecting...... yeah 40 minutes of my life spent on a video game babysitting....shittttttttttttttttttt

I actually main support and alot of the time dont mind playing , But i do understand completely what other players mean when they say they dont want to play support.

When i play league of legends im spending my precious time playing a video game. When im playing a video game i like to go all in and have fun.

When im a support i dont get that feeling of going all in almost ever. Matter of fact i get the opposite sometimes being passive.

maybe you are playing support wrong.

Supports can kill stuff and carry if done right.

These seem to be contradictory. Unless you have a problem with being assigned your main role.

When im a support i dont get that feeling of going all in almost ever. Matter of fact i get the opposite sometimes being passive.

You could always play a support that encourages all-in playstyles, like Leona, Brand, or Naut

It's the idea that supports can't control the out come of the game. Which is not true people just don't know how to play support. But the fact that people can be the carry and control what they do making them be a bigger factor in the out come of the game. It's mostly a control issue and people not understanding the role very well. I can't tell you how sad it is to see somebody get autofill into support and are just lost beyond hope.

The problem with the support is that it's a reactive role instead of an active one.

I am sure it depends on ELO. But as other say a damage support can provide that satisfaction (maybe a little less). Just get one pocket pick damage support, bully the lane. Then spend the rest of the game getting smart picks. I am sure they would enjoy getting that stun plus 100-0 on a squishy.

The worst part is being a damage support vs a tank, because it most likely won't happen. The second worst part is there is no proper build for AD cannon support. And AD tank can kill people but it is unlikely.
