I think their response is typical for a company running a game this size. They have so many players that listening to them is essentially impossible because they're not united about anything. The forums may present it that way, but remember that the forums are a small, isolated, relatively specific demographic as far as League players go - They're just as prone to hive-mindedness and groupthink as any other group. Riot does listen on occasion when the issue isn't too large or when the problem is obvious, but when it comes to major issues and design decisions they've long since stopped relying on the players for feedback (they get too many contradictory opinions) and instead relying on metrics, surveys, and statistics.

I think they care about us. Look at what happened with the SKT skins, they saw the feedback and then decided it would be better to try again.

I think that what most people are salty about is the mid season update, which is going to change a lot. But I think that keeps the game fresh. I started playing in Season 1, and this game is vastly different from season to season. If Riot didn't try and change things up, it would be so boring and just really stale.

Now, I am not happy with all of the changes, specifically the RH buff and the buff timers, but I actually like a lot of the changes that Riot has done over the years.

On the same patches, you'll get people demanding a champion be buffed and people demanding the SAME champion be nerfed because super OP. If Riot buffs the champ, the ones who wanted a Nerf cry that Riot doesn't listen to them and vice versa. If Riot leaves the champ as is, BOTH groups start crying, often joining up to agree that "Riot isn't fixing this champion", completely ignoring the fact that their opinions are contradictory.

I think Riot is like any other corporation, they have a direction they want to take their product in, they listen to fan recommendations, but the business is such that you can never please anyone and thus your objective shouldn't be to please everyone. Even when it means the people who don't get what they want start acting like they are the will of the LOL community and Riot ignoring them means Riot is ignoring the community.

Rito still forces dynQ on soloQ players.

that should answer that question.

I got banned for playing ranked again. I used the same champs as last season, wasnt even at the elo i was last season. They say I paid a booster but i already told them a smurf was helping twitch viewers for free.

Lol Riot only cares about play-testers and esports. PBE or nothing.

Riot is one of the most considerate gaming companies I've seen. They've evolved to be this way and are constantly striving to get better. Are they perfect? No. But they're better than the vast majority of companies out there.

I'm still willing to give them a chance to redeem on a few things and maybe hopefuly get some ideas to them...

Including skin ideas that are pretty much better than the new galaxy skins that everyone seems to be disliking it.
