Has riot lost tracks on "fair gameplay"?

See, this update 6.9 has brought many heavy changes, changes that some player might not be prepared to deal with. I've searched on the other servers for opinions, and some were not coincidence: The approval rate of this update was not good.

Many complained about "champions OPness", mostly about ziggs and brand The sudden change on itens and mechanics which affected directly the play style of the players, literally destroyed their tactics and now they are forced to fight things they were never expecting to become true.

Has riot lost track of the fair gameplay and don't care any longer for players opinion besides some question tests they propose one time or another?

Surely, I fell like riot don't give a fuck for what we write or speak, it's like They do what they want and we must accept.

It's the usual 'patch day whining.' People hate change, and this patch had a lot of big ones. Give it a month then re-evaluate the patch, I say.

I feel like people complain about just about every single update. And then say old updates were "sooo" much better.

No duh things are going to feel OP or weak, they made A LOT OF CHANGES, they said over the continuing the patch they were going to continue working on the changes taking feed back and adjusting as needed. You're really naive if you think they could release this huge update and have it be perfectly balanced and fair from the start.

Well, forcefully changing people's original tactics- That's kinda their goal. Keep diversity up by forcing people to think of new strategies instead of using the same old thing.

Well, Riot is heavily emphasizing the tank meta should be permanent now.

Well they are changing the game from to bottom up. I think most of this is good, and there is some stuff that I think needs to be changed. I don't think it's healthy for a game to have just one strat that works from Season 1 on, new items and new/reworked champions keep the game interesting. Just because things are different, doesn't mean that that's a bad thing. If it all stayed the same, there would be ~30 champions played at all times, and a majority of champions would see no gameplay. That's not healthy for the game either. So I think this is good for the game. And Riot has said that every year they are going to do a big change between seasons and a mid year update.

Im also extremly confused about the chances. But lets wait a while for it to settle down. We first need to get to know the Items better, learn the new things about the updated Champs and overall accept the new stuff. Then we can talk about whats bad. When we completly understand its mechanics and / or effects.
