Why do premades hold high report cred???

I've been banned multiple times. Every time without fail it's some trolling 4x premade and I'm the solo and they make the game completely unfun to the point where I have to point it out. They tell me to eat dicks, they tell me they wish I was dead or contract any number of diseases, or I should go kill myself. Then they "lol" and report me for anything and instantly I get a ban! The fact they were out to ruin the game for me (and it's always me, I'm always the unlucky one to get these toxic players) should make their reports worthless, not able to permaban me! Will I come back to the game? No. Toxic players should be clearly identified. And if the toxic players are the ones banning innocents, this isn't a fair system. It is a system that bullies rule, and are able to pick on solo queues. Their reports hold too much weight. Especially when they are literally only playing to cause misery for 1 unlucky victim each game, and to add insult to injury, they get to ban that person too! Should I have AFK'd out? Well, that's a ban too. The kind of disgusting language I need to sit through should get these people arrested and thrown in jail, not just banned from the game. But thanks Riot, I've been playing since Beta, and some troll premade finally banned me. You lost a paying player and one of the good ones! Your loss, not mine.

They don't.

The system counts the number of games you are reported in; it doesn't care about how many reports you receive in a single game.

In addition, Riot personally checks perma-bans before they are issued. If your behaviour didn't justify the reports, then you wouldn't have been punished for it.

I think Riot even mentioned that in the 4+1 situations, the 1 person on the team's reports count for more than the 4, just to counteract the situation the OP is describing.

These players are not the ones banning you, they are simply reporting you, and reports alone do not cause punishment. Reports only trigger a review of your account, and if something unacceptable is found, that's when you get punished.

Also, premade parties hold no more weight in their reports than solo players do. Multiple reports in a single game do not make the system look any harder or faster for something punishable; they are treated just the same as a single report. This means that a single report has just as much weight to it as 9 reports do, since they are both treated as a single reported game.

Another thing to note is that Riot's stance has always been that retaliation is unacceptable. It doesn't matter what others are doing, if you retaliate back with your own poor behavior, then you are both in the wrong. If someone is being toxic towards you, yes it sucks, but it doesn't mean that you should be toxic back towards them. The best response to people like this is to mute/ignore them and report them once the game is over. Remember, you don't have to point out what they are doing (and I'm sure that's not all you did, considering you got a permaban), no one is forcing you to do so; you chose to do so out of your own free will.

Unfun how? And how exactly did you point it out? I ask because you won't actually be banned no matter how many times you've been reported unless you've actually done something worthy of punishment. Also, Riot doesn't care how many reports your recieve per game. What they actually count is how many games you've been reported in. This is in place specifically to protect against multiple reports that premades may file.

Yea, I literally tell them that they are being toxic trolls and ruining my game. Apparantly pointing out someone is toxic is being toxic. Kay. Yet all these people telling me to eat 149 aids dicks are still playing today. I don't get it. And if I stop talking in chat, reported for refusing to communicate. Or die too much? Intentionally feeding. The tools are there for them to abuse. Have a review of my account and compare it to people that actually deserve bans, and tell me what you see. I defend myself because I hate bullies and people who join games to make other's miserable and do so game after game and never get banned, but I point it out and I am the bad guy? Welcome to law 101 right...the bad guys have all the rights! If I was truly a toxic player, why did I last this long? I havn't changed how I behave one bit since Beta. Because when tribunal was run by people, not machines looking for keywords, people could see when a friend was joking with another, and when someone was defending themselves against bullies. The MechaTribunal has no ethics. Whatever. It saves money. But not really because I'm not around to spend it anymore.

That all depends on what you said to them. If they really were just toxic trolls, then pointing that out to them isn't 'defending your honor'. Calling them out doesn't magically make it stop. It sounds like you gave them exactly what they wanted, a negative reaction. Unless you were to post your chat logs and prove this assumption wrong, then the only thing you did was provide one extra source of toxicity in your games. The only thing you can really do in these cases is mute your toxic team mates and then report them at the end of the game. Not only does this prevent you from seeing any more of their abuse towards you, but it also means that their reports wouldn't do a single thing to you and you would have gotten off scott free. "He started it" has never held any merit here.

Right. Literally can't say anything in chat. MechaTribunal hands out bans if your grammar is incorrect like that. I miss the days of reviewing cases and handing out bans to those that deserve it, not the ones that used a curse word once.

Chat logs? I'll tell you what I said because I remember it clearly: I told them they were toxic and should be banned. Every time they told me to go kill myself, I told them that. Every time they wished me death, I told them that. That's all it takes, clearly. Those players won't even get a warning. Riot doesn't ban premades. Because clearly if I am the one getting reported by all my teammates, I'm in the wrong, despite that it's collusion. This has happened at every action on my account. I get bullied by 4 premades, and I naturally take a stand, it's who I am. That doesn't make me a bad guy, it makes me a good guy. Riot doesn't want good players to take a stand, Riot wants a herd of sheep. Except the pros, they can curse everyone out all they want. Nobody Gold or higher gets banned unless they hack, if then.

and im done with this thread, unless someone from riot wants to actually talk to me about this unfair banning. I was hoping to raise awareness of the flawed MechaTribunal. But clearly everyone here is part of that toxic community that thinks it's funny and eats popcorn while reading this. Guilty until proven innocent.
