I got banned for exploits, but I have never used exploits. How is this possible?

Okay so I understand this might not be a believable story, but for the sake of actual discussion, I want you to operate under the assumption that what I'm telling you is the complete truth. Nothing constructive will come out of me being called a liar.

This is what happened. About 2-3 weeks ago, I couldn't log into my account. I saw there were games being played when I checked it on OP.gg, so I knew someone had hacked it and was playing on it for whatever reason. I submitted a ticket to recover it, and I got it back 3 days later. I played again for a while, until one day I couldn't log in and received a notification that my account had been permanently suspended. I went to check my e-mail, and it said that the account had been banned for the use of cheats or exploits, or trying to mod the LoL client. I've never done these things in any games, or even know how to, so I immediately just thought of the person who hacked my account. So I sent in a ticket to Riot explaining the situation, telling them I've never tried to cheat or exploit, and I couldn't even if I tried. I also reminded them that my account had been compromised for a few days, and it was probably that person who did these things. Well, I heard back a few days later, and was told that there was enough evidence to close my account permanently.I responded, saying similar things as before, and asking if she was 100% sure that those things didn't happen while my account was compromised. Heard back again today, just got a bunch of copy pasta answers, like she knows how frustrating it is to get banned and saying again that they are confident that I did these things and that my account should stay closed. Even used the phrase "pretty sure" when I thought was funny. She didn't even address my question if they were 100% certain the cheating didn't occur while I was hacked.

So my question is, what am I supposed to do? I got banned for something I didn't do, and Riot support won't even address the subject of the cheating happening while my account was compromised. I mean, can't they see the previous support tickets, can't they look at the IP addresses and see who was logged in when I was supposedly doing these things? Hell, I was playing on my secondary account while my main account was hacked, I'm willing to bet I was playing games on that account while this cheating was going on. And I'd love to bring that up to Riot, but if all I am going to get is a PR answer that doesn't address anything I actually say, how can I do that? There is proof out there that I didn't do this, but it seems like they refuse to look because it's easier for them to just ban me without having to investigate further.

I just want to have an actual conversation with a support staff member in real time, having to send a ticket and wait 2-3 days and not have any of my questions answered is pretty frustrating and gets me nowhere in terms of proving myself innocent. How can I go forward from here, is there any way to actually talk to someone from support without a 3 day delay?

Unfortunately, you will be held responsible for actions taken on your account if you get your account stolen, and they don't frequently make exceptions. They expect you to keep your account reasonably secure. Please visit the Protecting Your Account article here for more information on preventing an account compromise.

You don't need to tell me it's bullshit, I don't agree with the policy either.

If support can't help you your best bet is to hunt down a rioter on the boards and hope they listen to you. Don't start spewing out your problem right away. Just tell them you have a problem that needs their attention. Don't make claims of who's in the wrong. Be professional about it. Show that you are mature to discuss it in an orderly fashion. I hope you get it sorted if what you're saying is true.

Stop exploiting

Jungle timers, custom skins, custom voice packs, literally any third party application that changes client files can trigger that. I'm not asking if you did any of that by the way, I'm just telling you.

Well now that you're banned its too late now. Just make sure that you don't use any exploits on your new account. http://www.lolking.net/guides/392167

In my guide in the link above, you will learn how to get your new account to level 30 in probably a week. The methods described are all completely legal, won't get you banned and won't violate the EUL. It should only take you 5 minutes to read the guide. So don't wast time arguing with Riot or the boards and just level up your new account already.
