I believe it would be useful to report all players you have had any sort of interaction with from any screen excepting during a match itself as well as be able to view pre-game, game, and post-game chat logs to be able to help make a decision on reporting opponents.

The reason I would like to report all players is for those with inappropriate names, e.g.: joined a lobby with a player name I found offensive and in discussing this, someone left, I could not take steps towards reporting them aside from coming here to create a thread, which I did not do.

As far as viewing chat logs, I believe that this would assist in sorting out which parties on an opposing team are at fault in a verbal confrontation, either or both. It is confusing to the point of impractical to report an opponent for being hostile to their own team without some proof that is not hearsay. Sometimes you are requested to report "a victim" of abuse for abuse, sometimes both parties are hostile to each other, sometimes an individual is legitimately in need of a report.

Ishotyourmom or something to that effect. But I'm certain everyone has seen some variation of expletive ridden or generally inappropriate names listed.

This is the problem right here. You care more about reporting for "abuse" and claim to be a "victim" The only people I see who are victims are the ones in ranked games with you. How do you think people feel in games where you spend more time dead then playing? Why can't you learn to play safer? I'm willing to bet people are constantly saying this to you in games.

Ward Baron, I think you're missing something, never said anything about being a victim. That was purely an example. But hey thanks for automatically assuming I am bad, I am, thanks for your concern. But, let's not make this about my skills and make this about your Nazi fetish for homoerotic tendencies of small children and large animals, amirite? Don't worry the other team won't know anything about this, I'll tell them to report you for offensive language and racial slurs, cause I would NEVER do that huh?
