"Rioter"
Indian Call Desk
This guy was so willing to tell you about the 3 day ban we all saw leaked from reddit, and then when you pressed for more info, he immediately got defensive and accusatory. They have NO IDEA what is going on, and they really screwed the pooch with the Avengers bans.
Not all people who spoiled Avengers got the 3 day ban. Not all people who spoil movies in general get banned. They cannot define which spoilers for what media after before how much time has passed deserves a punishment, because of course that is ridiculous. So they can't give more of an explanation because they have none.
Probably one rioter overstepped his boundaries after getting avengers spoiled for himself in a support ticket and handed out a ban, and instead of saying that's a mistake, they just want to issue threats with no clear details. It's like social media banning hate speech, etc. No real definitions about what is rule-breaking in these situations. They are in over their heads because they can't just say "we don't know/we screwed up."
I know the mods on here aren't rito affiliated exactly, but ask them, and they say it's not bannable, because of course it shouldn't be bannable. Ask someone else, they'll say it's bannable. NO ONE KNOWS ANYTHING! It's hilarious.
That seems very fishy and suspicious that they were not willing to go into more details regarding the 3-day ban when you asked for info regarding where it stood in regards to the punishment progression in the IFS. I also find it very hard to believe that they apparently can't go into more details regarding it cause of "internal procedures", which tells me it's less likely about internal procedures and more likely a cover-up of sorts if that make sense.
I asked riot support about how true-dmg infinity edge and old conqueror interacted with lifesteal as they stack multiplickely. Took me 3 rioters but one finally gave me an answer. The patch after they reverted ie. That rioter still deserves a HUGE raise.
That Rioter didnt tell you anything we don't already know. The guy on Reddit already revealed that you can get banned for spoilers.
As for the ban's place in the current punishment tiers it's already obvious it's separated from usual bans. And he even refused to tell you what's next punishment after that, which is wierd considering it's not the kind of info you can use to your advantage (you cant use it to bypass the system). Plus, we already know about regular punishment tiers, so it makes no sense not to reveal the ones after 3 day ban.
The only reason I believe he didnt revealed that is becaue they thought of that punishment "on the spot" because of all these "Avengers fans" crying because of the spoilers. But that's just my theory...
tl;dr you only showed us they're not useful.
That's gonna be a fat [zombie-brand-facepalm] for Riot.
