Player Bots - 3 in 1 Game - Waste of 30 Minutes

I just got out of a bot game... 3 of my teammates were Shen, Blitz, and Lee. My first thought was "oh my god... no way." There was one real person who actually wanted to play the match out.

Since I am OBLIGATED by Riot to suffer through BS matches, why is it that Riot cannot keep these player bots out of our games? How much money have I put into this game? $1,000 - $2,000? I don't even know.

Literally a waste of 30 minutes because I must stay despite the circumstances. How is this not able to be fixed? I expect more out of an Indie game that costs $5.

They do ban the bots, problem is that people keep making more of them to level and sell accounts. They have been hunting down scripting companies in court and winning, but they can't be everywhere at once. They also ban in waves so that the scripters have a harder time figuring out what exactly in the script got them banned.

Best way for us to help is by reporting the bots after the game and explaining in the comment box why we know they are bots (we can tell the difference between a bot and a new player better since we are in the game with them).

Yeah that's true. I get it. It's the most played game.

There's just something incredibly frustrating about knowing 30 minutes is just wasted. Even if it were just 1 player bot in the game, these AI games usually last 15-25 minutes. But when I saw 3 in my game, I just wanted to leave and afk or whatever.

But then I would be the one getting in trouble. It really sucks.

I know it sucks... I've been in a few such games and I raised another account just to hunt down bots every day. Peak hours for such games are very early in the morning, when most humans are asleep. I've even been in a couple games where I was the only human there...

Those games require a lot of macro plays, and knowing the Ai habits very well to win. I'm very sorry you has to go through that. QQ

I think it starts to get bad after 2 am most nights. If the queue time is over 1-2 minutes you may get one of those (if the queue is really short it's prob mostly humans--from my experience).

I hate to break it to you. People spend way more than I do on this game. I'm talking about over the course of YEARS. I didn't just write a check for $2,000 and hand it to Riot. I spend a little here and a little there. And I know many other people are doing it.

So, quit being butthurt about it. Get a job and then you can do it too if you so choose.

The point about the money is that if I'm going to spend THAT much on this game, I have expectations. Riot expects me to suffer BS games and I expect them to keep player bots out of my games.

To be fair, why are you playing an AI game? I enjoy the "challenge" of winning with bots. Not because it is hard, but because I actually get a chance to build 5-6 items because they suck. And in the end, it is still a very fast game. You still win and get first win of day.

I mean I play them too. But I just wanted to know what your reasoning was. I mean THIRTY 30 minutes is not much longer than 22 minutes. And we are all different, but I often prefer the 30 min game over the 22 minute game, and I especially hate the 15minute because it means someone else just went off and I didn't get a chance to... you know play the character I chose.

But I don't know what your goal was. All I know is you are upset that you had bots and had to play for 30 minutes.

But I don't know what your goal was. All I know is you are upset that you had bots and had to play for 30 minutes.

There are 3 champions that I don't have and I don't feel like spending money on them. I'm trying to figure out which is more efficient - playing Coop vs. AI or PVP? I'm not asking which is more efficient. I want to know for myself by trying it.

It kills two birds with one stone because honor is easy to get. So, Honor 5 + the champions + I don't have an awful day with teammates complaining. I can listen to podcasts and play easy games.

There's your answer. 3 champ unlock, honor, and it's laid back.

It was not laid back. It was frustrating.

8 minutes with player bots is 8 minutes too long (actually 30 minutes too long). One second with player bots is one second too long.

Why are you preaching to me as if you are the arbiter of what is tolerable? You can have your opinions but please do not tell me that it should be no big deal.

It sucks to be in games with botters. I wish I could tell you that it is an isolated experience but it totally isn't.

I've been in games with bots and it's really frustrating on both sides. It's not a satisfying game when you beat bots, it's not fun playing with bots.
