Ban Appeal

So a few weeks or maybe months now I was banned for toxicity, and verbal abuse. I know that this was very bad and I needed to stop immediately but I was questioning why I had no chat suspensions, just a perma ban. If I would've received one of these chat suspension for however many games, I would've been almost 100% likely to stop. I know that they had them at this time, and I think my punishment was unruly due to not being given the usual punishment that players would receive for this. Im not asking for an unban I just find it odd and a bit unequal that I did not receive any warnings, less harsh punishments, etc. before this ban. I thank you for your time and for some of you, your understanding

Stuff you said was probably bad enough to cut in line straight to the permanent ban.

Hate Speech, Death Threats, encouraging other to commit suicide, etc. Is all stuff that sends you straight to permanent ban status no warnings required.

Some transgressions are so disgusting that Riot foregoes their punishment tier system of restrictions and temp bans and just boots your fucking ass out of the community.

It's not unusual for them to undo bans that were mistakes, though. If your ban was after patch 5.18 (ie during or after worlds) and you had not received a 2 week ban in the 3 months prior to that patch (mid August and after), you should send a ticket to support.
