Can't keep going through this.

Litterally every game now it is always toxic. Trying a new champion in normals is like asking bullies spill their hate into your face like you stole their dog or something. I can understand if it were ranked but the toxic salt fest is ridiculous. I just was to casually learn the game in a PvP environment without every tiny movment or mistake being labled as the most catastrophic event to ever happen to humanity. League players are people, real people. I wasn't feeling good today because in woke up to a phone call telling me that my close friend OD'd on alcohol and never woke up. The very last thing I need when I want to have fun is being stuck in a fourth minute session on a free to play game hearing two or three players preach at my face instead of being considerate.

Players are people, I'm just over this salt.

My advice is to be more liberal with the mute button. They will be held responsible for their actions by Riot, but only after they've been reported enough for it; Reporting is for preventing them from acting that way in the future, and Muting is to benefit you immediately.

Communication is the secret to happiness :

"Hi guys! First time (Insert champion name) in pvp! Advice will be welcome, rage will be ridiculed. ONWARD!"

I'm sorry about your friend, I don't know if it's appropriate, but feel free to use this thread if you feel like blowing some steam about it. As much as there are jerks on the net, there are some of us who still care about other humans

Welcome to League of Legends, where verbal abuse, being rude toward other players, foul language, negative attitude, flamebaiting, and other such behaviors are the norm, not the exception.

Be forewarned much of this is done to bait for retaliation, which you in turn will get banned for regardless of context.

If you came here wanting to play a game where people are nice to each other, you came to the wrong place.item 3070

However, if you came to play the Zealot who mashes the report button at the first hint of something you disagree with, you came to the right place.

If you're in an emotionally fragile state and can't handle the internet, mute button.

Just use it. No need to get upset, no need to cry about it on the forums, just mute, take a deep breath, and move on.

I'm sorry about your friend, but this is the internet, people aren't nice to each other and you absolutely CANNOT take it personally. It sucks but that's just the way it is.
