So its not only pro's that have their words being taken way to far and being banned for bullshit reasons. what do you have to say to defend yourself riot

since you wanna try and be cool by quoting things. clearly you don't even know what happened. he didnt threaten physical or verbal violence in any way shape or form. he only said a company didn't pay him which they didnt by the way. and he said he wished the region which overall has all been a sham in terms of paying players etc should just die cause it would be better for everyone. which is true players are giving up their lives and points where they could be making money to be promised something and then never receive it which by the way would make any human in the world upset so if you cant think with empathy or think from the position of the other person then dont even speak cause your input has no value. tell you what let me give you a job have you commit 11 months of your live not being paid doing anything else just doing this one thing the entire time and the in the end of the 11 months let me just not pay you and say fuck it. and by the way it has to be in the context where i as the company cant get in any trouble cause no lawyer is going to fight for me and no other person cares enough to make it a story to become relevant news and pressure the company into holding up their agreement and then tell me how you feel

So, we establish - one - that the person was not getting paid by Riot. Okay, woohoo. Nobody's getting paid by Riot. Two - he's a professional player/famous player. Great, he's reputable.

Then he goes and wishes - openly - that the NA region server dies. Because he - for whatever reason - views it as "a sham".

Riot has all the grounds in the world to punish him. If he's going to play their game, he's going to have to treat the company with some respect. He can question their policies all damn day, but openly desiring that they lose a whole chunk of their playerbase is just plain fuckin' dumb.

I didn't bother watching the video, and I don't keep up to speed with famous or pro-players or anything, but whoever it was who got punished had it coming. If he's so vehemently against the existence of one playerbase domain, he can just not fuckin' play on it.

And, further, I'm going to assume that you personally are referring to the issue that oh so many people bring up about "I spent money on this game and Riot's taking away my content!"

An issue that's been done to death by now.

The TOS says clearly: You don't own shit. You have a revocable access card to Riot's shit. Riot can take away your access at any time. All transactions are non-refundable unless explicitly agreed upon by Riot.

If you don't like that, don't pay.

You can feel free to respond to me with long-winded, unbroken paragraphs all you like, but this is my first and only response to this post. There's nothing more for me to say beyond what I've already said.

Likkrit's ban is old news. I read the original post and watched the vod of Likkrit speaking on the subject, along with the Reddit translation of it which Likkrit himself validated.

I didn't go to a third party to see the news; I went straight to the source.

The guy above twists the information and omits that Likkrit himself admitted the punishment was justified. He signed a contract not to talk about that stuff and he broke that contract.

clearly you don't know whats going on at all. don't write on a post trying to seem cool when clearly your lost on the topic. Slander isn't saying a company didn't pay you if its the truth and giving your opinion that a region has horrible problems paying their players would be better off not existing is also not any form of slander at all.

I gotta say, all the game balance stuff is just different opinions at the end of the day. The handling of Likkrit considering what he actually did and Riot's response to it is just plain reprehensible at a human level.

Y'all need to fix your fucking esports policies and procedures. People on the boards meme about criticism being deleted when it's just troll bait, but here you go and ban a pro player for relatively mild criticism. What the unholy living actual fuck.

So from what I'm seeing, he down talked his region's LCL and shit then belittled Riot, not saying he doesn't have the right to be pissed or that he shouldn't voice his opinion, but he went about it in the utterly wrong way.

That would be like you shit talking your company on facebook and expecting to keep your job. Also, using Richard Lewis as an example is unfair because he is HEAVILY bias towards Riot and utterly hates them to such a degree that he refuses to see the other side of things.

you know what and to follow up on my post. you guys have ruined this game so badly and you guys are so narcissistic about the shitty systems that you guys have developed. that i hope the entire NA region and your game as a whole dies. you guys have had the worst morals of any big company ever. you guys permanently banned montecristo for bullshit yet you guys open to franchising and have people owning 3 teams cause there is no conflict of interest their. all the way down to ripping off your 90% of your population by pumping out shit skins and then banning their accounts for no reason while you sit on your phat profits. i hope league of legends dies after this year after everyone realizes what a scam the game is and how dota 2, counter strike and any other game is 100x better community wise and company wise. atleast they dont shit on their own players. This video is interesting. I'm definitely not a fan of Richard Lewis, but I do agree with some of his points about toxicity and punishment. I'd say starting around 18:00 mins is a pretty good summary of the direction riot is taking this game in. Which is pretty sad imo.
