Guy blatantly lying about me? Invalidating enemy team reports.

Ok, so I play urf a lot. A LOT. I love URF since it's fast paced and I think its the best thing to ever happen to this game. Not the point. I hate when people jg in urf because it messes up the solo laners game. Long story short I got an Udyr in my game who decides to jg. I went mid as Sett, and I realized our Malph was solo top. I called Udyr out on it with a single insult all game. After this single insult he proceeds to lie to the enemy team about me saying I said some messed up shit. Long story short he continues this all game, and proceeds to run with this story. Game ends we lose, but he kept telling the enemy team to report me. Whatever. My problem is that if they do, IFS will see it's a false report and make their reports less valid. The enemy team that is, this Udyr was messed up. I did report the Udyr and surprise surprise about 3 minutes in I get the notification saying it went through and it was valid. It's actually quite worrying that people can just do this, and then it can take away the validity of the reports of people who would most likely otherwise use them for good. I feel like theres nothing that can be done, and I did need to blow some steam since this was just an odd experience where I was falsely being accused of saying things I had never said.. Do you think anything can be done at all? Really, because I don't think much can be about people like this, and it's frustrating.

Since report weight was done away with, it doesn't really matter. You could report people in your next 100 games and only the valid ones would matter.

You really don't need to worry about being falsely reported.

All a report does is to flag the system to review the game. The toxicity score returned from the review can be 0 if no toxicity was found.

Normally I just casually agree with the people threatening me with reports. "Sure sure, whatever floats your boat". Providing if you did nothing wrong, that report won't affect your account.

Since the punishment system works based on consistency x severity, it means that even if you DID do something wrong, it takes alot of validly reported games before one gets punished.

happens to me all the time. usually they say I was being racist which always pisses me off that riot doesn't punish them. false accusations should be punished as heavily as the accusation would have been
