Do you not know how Sylas works?
He copies people's ults. Kalista's ult requires an ally to take the Black Spear to function, so Sylas gets a Black Spear too. Otherwise, it would either have to not work at all, which would feel terrible, or work on any ally, which would be busted.
If there is a Kalista on the opposing team, Sylas will get a Black Spear to bind with an ally, in order to use Kalista's ult.
