Chat Restriction but Not Toxic?

I've pasted the reform card below which is the notice you get upon login explaining why you get any given punishment. What do you guys think? Is the AI system right or wrong for giving this punishment?

Note: I gave up on supporting my adc after he was continually toxic to me and telling me to kill myself. Additionally, some of these comments are me reacting to my teammates berating other teammates (everyone kinda disliked each other). One example: Seiten Air: ohhh rekt Seiten Air: burrnnnn

Seiten Air: yeah im reporting you for trolling Seiten Air: youve been complaining about me since minute 2 Seiten Air: yeah im so reporting you for harrassment Seiten Air: you are the one who is toxic. and btw telling others to report a teammate is also toxic Seiten Air: its called lag dude. but you have no excuse for being toxic Seiten Air: the more you talk the faster youre getting banned mf Seiten Air: if you are complaining about vision then put wards down instead of flaming your team

the way you call for reports kidda irks me a bit. Don't know how to say it, but it feels like "I'm reporting you and you can't do anythingggg to meee ~~~~~ na na na na na ~~~".

Seeing that you got two games of such behavior kind of shows that you do that alot. Which is how you got punished.

In truth, you really don't need to tell them that they got reported, most the time, it serves to do nothing. If you wanted to tell them that their actions are out of line, just say stuff like "bro, that's not cool", and if they continue, just report them quietly after.

The problem is you constantly targeted a single person while being sarcastic. No what you need to do is target everyone. Leave none without being sarcastic to them. That is considered Harassment from what I have been told.

According to the ToS you sign when you start playing, being rude in defense of rudeness is NOT allowed. Sorry mate.

Announcing it isn't cool and will get you in trouble. If you're going to report someone, just do it. No need to harass about it - people have been summoner 11'ed for it.

This reads like you left your ADC on their own because they annoyed you - at that point you started putting your needs above your team's. This is also seriously uncool, and is in fact called out in the summoner's code specifically as something you're not supposed to do.

Namecalling isn't cool.

All of these are why you got a chat restrict.

What you should do next time someone is toxic is:

  1. Mute them - in the chatbox, type /mute (their name) or /mute @(their champion)
  2. Don't tell them, or bang on about it. Mute them and be done.
  3. Continue to play the game in your assigned position and role
  4. Report them after the game

Riot is going to say that you replied too much. "Don't respond to toxic behavior". Well Riot, if your system worked then WE WOULDN'T HAVE TOXIC BEHAVIOR TO RESPOND TO IN THE FIRST PLACE.

i dont really see a reason for u to get a chat restriction punishment, but at same time u should be glad u got chat restriction n not 14 day ban even after u admitted it.

you shouldn't be banned for being toxic you should be banned for assisting enemy team. if i play top and i open my lane to jungle because i lost i will get banned. you did the same on support .

You were pretty toxic in that second game especially. The two main things that probably triggered it were telling the person you're reporting them and saying "I'm done." You don't need to tell someone you're reporting them, just do it. And saying "I'm done" makes it seem like you're giving up, which is against the summoner's code.

Hope you become less toxic in the future.
