If you wanna to practice champions, use bot games or ARAMs because if your performance is too bad, they will identify your practice is intentional feeding and trolling. If you have no clue how a champion works in terms of skills, item management, Auto attack placement, anything that should be common knowledge to someone familiar to a champion should at least be practiced in a bot/custom match. Especially since so many people want to claim that the only reason they are feeding/losing badly is because its their first time playing a champion, its an overused excuse that just seems dull and boring to use anymore.

Such as Draven, I can caught his axes every time in bot or custom model, but you have to consider whether you should caught axes in normal model. You think a new Draven can learn this skill in bot and custom model?
Jubbinaut2 votesPersonally, I use customs and bot matches to practice my clears for jungle champs (and to practice basic mechanics for anything else).
Once I've got an idea of how the champ functions, and I feel comfortable handling CS or clearing, I take them to other modes to practice applying those mechanics.

But...I have to say. Thats stupid imo. Don't mean to sound like a jerk but bots can't teach you how to deal with players or the jungle and Aram is a completely different mode lacking different lanes and a jungle. Learning how a champion skill works is one thing but how they perform between players/objectives with that champion and how you adapt is another.

ARAM is not a good place to practice the champion either because you aren't getting real experiences with warding, how the champion does in lanes, etc.

-- THE ONLY REAL PRACTICE IS AGAINST REAL PLAYERS -- ANYONE can get 20-40 Kills in a Bot Game. (ie: Once I purchased Nidalee and ONLY took her in Normal Mode when I was able to kill 20-30 Bots per game. But I got slaughtered my first real Normal Match with her. I died 1 time and was chastised the ENTIRE rest of the game, which naturally hurt my feelings and made me play worse because im a pansy little girl. Granted this was a year ago when players were a lot more cruel then they are now.. but still, I never played Nidalee again after that because I had no way of really practicing with her. I also left the game shortly after realizing I was playing League of Assholes) -- Additionally, Bots are waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too predictable. (The first time I played this game a year ago, I didn't understand how it works, but I'm learning from my previous mistakes since returning to the game, and I've also learned how INSANELY predictable the bots are. I cant practice advanced mechanics against them because it's completely unnecessary to use advanced mechanics against bots) -- It's hard to practice in a Bot Game when Advanced Players just want to IP Farm. -- When this happens, the games are over in less than 20 minutes -- Advanced Players also come into your lane and last hit to get fed quicker so they can end the game quicker. -- This makes it really hard to "practice" -- Players don't play like Bots -- I dont consider ARAM "Practice" either, because you can't focus on the Champion you want to learn how to play -- ARAM is really just a mode that lets you play out of your comfort zone. A Fun Mode.
I've suggested this before: Normal Mode needs a "Practice" Option. -- Players receive little-to-no IP (this will prevent IP Farming) -- Players may only choose Champions Level 1-3 -- Players will not gain Experience during Practice Mode (or they will gain 1/4 the experience from a real Normal Match)

I'm sorry, but 3 CS in 7 minutes? Most Bronze/Silver supports get more than that while not trying to CS at all. I have a very, very hard time believing this was anything but intentional feeding.

No, I'm verifying a judgement call that was made by others who were in the game with you using KDA, CS, wards placed, and death locations. Riot has more than that to verify with, but what's available is certainly incriminating enough.
Lets assume the first death through third death unhappy coincidences. That happens. But 0 CS until 7 minutes? Yeah, a lot of the time was walking back to lane, but even that's pushing it.
Your 4th death, where you got soloed by Tristana, you were at the enemy tower. Very close to if not in their tower range.
Your 5th death, you where behind the enemy tower. Even Tahm Kench can't carry you that far. This is the one Amumu assisted with, which is why I bring up warding (which, as Jubbinaut mentioned, there was no pink). Your first ward wasn't placed until after the 16 minute mark, well after these deaths and after you killed the enemy tower, so even if you were trying to get pressure on the turret (which is fine, need to win), you were doing so completely blind.
I mean, you've at least got to admit, it looks very, very incriminating. It certainly doesn't look anywhere near the performance of a mid Plat, or a Gold, or even a high Silver, and not because you're new to the champion. It looks like someone who hadn't played the game at all.
Draven is easy to do damage in teamfight for a new Draven?
