Hello I was playing MF support yesterday and was repeatedly question pinged and flamed by my ad carry and fiddle top laner all game and then my top laner told enemy team to report me during the game and in post game lobby. Fiddle telling me things like I was "shit" and that I was trolling for picking mf support saying things like "Gj everyone except MF" after we would win a team fight even though my ult would win us fights. I later reported this guy and got a notification that he had been punished. This is great and all and where the story should've ended for me but I got on today and was told I had been chat restricted for 10 days. Now I dont care about the chat restrict what I do care about is how I can be chat banned when I was trying to be a team player and not give in to toxicity of my team mates. what I will say is when the game started I was skeptical about fiddle top as the logs show but I did not flame this guy at any point, but for some reason he had the audacity to say I was trolling playing mf support when he was playing fiddle sticks top? You spent the entire game blaming/arguing with a teammate and creating a negative environment. The solution there is to simply mute them and ignore them.

Aren't you kidda acting the same way as fiddle?

You imply he's a troll by saying it's gg, and you kept asking for reports.

Of course, the system works based on consistency x severity, so I'm guessing you have many more games where you did the same thing: defeatist attitude + asking for reports.

Gonna have to mute the offending party next time so you don't end up in the same chat restriction boat as him.

Though it is good to know that the fiddle got punished. Shows that the "trolls are never punished, only the victims are" mentality is false.

Is this the only game linked to you? That being said. You WERE asking for reports. That is a toxic and punishable behavior. There's no need to ask. It takes only one report to get it investigated by the IFS. Asking for reports has just been used as a toxic way to flame / abuse others in Riot. More often than not anyway. You also should just mute these people. I hate being on the team where it's just two people going back and forth on each other.
