Is this worth a 14 day ban? I was abused by the enemy team, and had a greifing soraka on my team.

It doesn't matter how bad or toxic everyone else was. Only your actions matter when it come to your ban.

Threatening to report. Asking for other to report. Calling her a troll. All of these things are toxic. Not ban worthy imo but still toxic.

No, this game isn't too terribly bad, you are pretty aggressive in it, but it's one game and you don't get this sort of punishment for just one game.

Here's what I see in your chat log:

  • You call for reports against Soraka allot, and I do mean ALLOT.
  • You keep harping on Soraka for being a troll to the point where you don't want her to come back to the bot lane with you.

My Advice:

  • Don't call for reports, ever. If someone is bugging you then just mute them and then report them after the game without saying in chat that you're reporting them. Calling for reports only opens up valid reports against you.
  • While it does stink to get a troll on your team, constantly complaining about it solves nothing, and it certainly won't stop them from trolling that's for sure. If you've asked them to stop and they refuse to do so, then just mute and report them and don't keep harassing them about their trolling.

It's also important to note and keep in mind that you received a 14-day ban because you refused to change your behavior for the better during your 10-game and 25-game chat restrictions. This also wasn't the only game that you're being punished for either; no, you're being punished for displaying negative behavior in tons of your games. This is strike 3, and so that means that 1 more strike and you're out.

My Verdict: Punish.

I"m not excusing her troll behavior, but the only person that you can control is yourself. If you hadn't raged at her and constantly called for reports against her then she would be the only one getting reported instead of both her and you. By not raging and giving into their behavior and rage/troll bait you ensure that you won't be reported for breaking the rules of the game.

Oh yea, because trash-talking back to the support:

  • can like "ABRACADABRA!!!!" her into helping you all over again.

  • Or maybe even angels can descend upon you & "maaaaagically" help you win the game.

  • Or probably the game would somehow "maaaaaaaaaaaagically" switch the Soraka player with Phreak & play with you.

Like seriously, ask yourself this. What is the benefit of trash-talking? Don't lie, but I'm 100% sure, is just to make yourself feel better.

We all had bad games with those who would troll at us or being new to the game and not knowing how to play, but what can you do? You ain't God, you can't change the fate of the game. All I can say is report & move on, not invite yourself into being reported instead. Even if that Soraka dude didn't get a punishment, who cares? Do you really think you're gonna queue up with her like 10 times in a row?

When did i trashtalk exactly? all i said was "please report". I WASNT EVEN REPORTED BY SORAKA I WAS REPORTED BY THE ENEMY KINDRED WHO WAS IN FACT ABUSING ME. "report and move on", so i am supposed to sit there, in a game where my team refuses to forfeit, when i have a support who is refusing to let me succeed? am I supposed to ignore this? are you saying that this would not effect you? "trash-talking back to the support" is not what happened. i was reported by a 3rd party. IE Kindred. Soraka was just a troll who left immediately. i was even honored by teammates. so please get your facts straight before leading an assault against a victim of unjust punishment.

Because your chat logs such as above were nothing but you pointing tons of finger at Soraka. It's like, we get it, report Soraka for her behavior. Some may report, some don't. Even if the Kindred threatens to report you, do note that False Reports will just go straight to the bin since from that time you were still playing normally. But instead, you just kept on whining and pointed MORE fingers at Soraka like an abusive mother blaming her daughter for ruining her life.

Great, you made it to the point where you invited yourself to be reported with the first 3 lines. Everyone already gets the memo about the trolling Soraka, why do you STILL have to stand out being the noisy one even more? What's with the "i will stop" part? Did the enemy told you to be quiet about being whiny or something? But nope, you still pressed on and on about this. And fun fact? You even won that game. If only you can just stayed at "report Soraka" instead of adding more storylines to your chat logs, your 14 day suspension would never happened.

Do note that your behavior in this whole chat logs were really ticking your teammate's nerve plus the enemies'. It's still toxic & ruins other people's experiences. Think I'm wrong? Then respond to Anomander since he made a few valid points & you never countered back.

Plus, I noticed the fact that you were hiding some of the chat logs in this thread, according to nerak23's comment. You're not being very honest with us here. You need to post your Reform Card instead of literally copy pasting the chat logs, no ones gonna believe you for it. Post the URL of the Reform Card.

While they have a small point that you should be quiet, the only reason is because if you say almost anything you'll get reported. Lots of people will troll to get someone mad, then the troll goes and reports the person.

Seeing that this was a 14 day ban.. I'm sure you had multiple chat restrictions for being toxic... So pretty much after you get hit with loads of chat restrictions, what then happens is only one little report is needed to get you banned. The system pretty much monitors how much you been toxic between restrictions, and bans. So you could say one little negative thing, and bam you get banned lol.....

It's best to stay quiet. Sadly that's too hard when you got an obvious troll.

No, they're saying don't retaliate negatively against the trolls and jerks. To me it seems like the players who claim that if you defend yourself you get banned are the ones who think that harassing and verbally abusing others counts as "defending oneself" when it's not.

I've had friends who had calmly defended themselves against the trolls, and since they called them trolls and feeders (not in all chat) even in a calm way, got restrictions and bans.

I don't know them and I haven't seen their chat logs/reform cards so I can't say anything for certain, but most likely they constantly kept harping on the fact that certain players were trolls and feeders, refused to stop and because of that they got punished. Again I would have to see their reform cards to say anything for certain, but this is probably most likely one of the reasons that they got punished like they did.

Yep, I'd report you !! If you want your support to umm like "support" you ....don't be so critical about her. I have had to play support and I'd do w/e to help my ADC but guess what --if you say stuff like that I'd rather roam because I'm guessing we are losing lane and I wouldn't want to be abused....

Best advice I could give if you really want to be great is: Don't depend on a support if your an ADC...If you learn to play exclusively good by yourself a support will only make you GREAt !
