Lobby Hijacking

I just had a game where i selected bottom/jungle. i got my preferred role of bottom lane and when banning started - our top laner (not naming names obviously) told me they were duo with the support and would like bot lane from me in exchange for top. I said i'm not interested in going top lane as i am not very good at the lane and almost always lose when autofilled top lane (yes i've practiced but there are too many matchups) They asked me if i could go ADC top lane because he is taking the support to whatever lane he goes to (meaning i would be forced to solo lane) so i picked aatrox with the absolute worst intentions because i was hoping for a dodge. I managed to win that game and do very well, but that does not excuse the behavior of that player. There is no relevant report topic for this and it happens in too many of my games. Why since autofill has been enabled has riot not done anything about this publicly? why is there no report button, or actionable thing i can do to stop this from happening in ranked games.

Honestly, get rid of autofill and perhaps get rid of the problem but that's not the whole issue. People ruining games has been around for forever, but now every few lobbies you get the same old thing ~ someone refusing to take their autofill role.

It's been awhile since you pushed out the new champ select, why are you not doing anything currently to fix the issue and if you are why haven'Aatrox t we seen anything in months?

However, I do agree that there should be something in place for people who hijack lobbies like in this current situation. It isn't fair to all involved and it happens often enough that something should be done about it.

Taking out autofill would make queue times absolutely abysmal. Since support the least favorite role and jg second least favorite, if you aren't queued as one of those, you're in for quite a wait. It's just not good for them to take out autofill. It wouldn't effect lower elo as much as higher elo, but it would effect it.

Holding people hostage in a lobby is a completely reportable offense. If you run into that again, take screenshots (esp. if they're openly admitting to messing with you) and just submit a ticket with Player Support.

Note, it is completely okay for someone to do something off-meta, but they have to communicate that - if what you said is true then you were basically told "We're going ad/sup idgaf what you want/say" in an attempt to coerce you out of your role, which is not okay and Riot has handled situations similar to that before.
