We all hate instalocking... but what is worse is an argument on who is the real instalocker.

There is a horrible chat bug going around where in Normal Blind, if you connect after another person, you can't see their messages. So imagine if you will you wanted to be jungle. You type JG. Some Shaco main comes along and says JG after and claims to be first after. The rest of the chat is literally arguments on who is the real Jungler.

So far the only remedy is to copy and paste chat, but even then any smart guy can type in between his paste to forge a fake first chat. That or type slower in the hopes of everyone seeing your chat without being beaten.

Honestly Riot, if you care so much about reducing toxicity, why don't you change the chat programming so anyone who joins chat can see the chat history to know who real is the first to a role. It will make matches more consistent and reduce the unwanted tilt that breaks games and gets people banned.

There's no hard rule around blind pick. People are free to go anywhere they please, this includes double top or even double jg.

If you want lane assignments, play a draft pick mode.

There is another way - a 3rd player mediates, and both players respect their call.

Why would you play blind pick? It is the most toxic mode in the entire game, because you are constantly with smurf accounts that are leveling up after being banned on mains. If you are playing on a new account or a friend is new and you are duoing or grouping with them play bots until draft. Don't even bother with blind. Will help in the long run, because it will stop them from getting bad habits.
