I get tilted in game because teammates troll me, but I am permanently banned for it? Forgot everyone has to be perfect in this world and not retaliate. why punish people for retaliating when anyone can mute anyways? Seriously.. I get a Morgana that steals my farm making me useless in game. I let team know. They bash me for it, but if I say anything back, I am in the wrong? Have another game, support feeds 0/6 before 5 minutes. I ask for help, get called trash by mid lane. I retaliate, so I am in the wrong?

Screw you Riot, and screw your punishment system. It doesn't work. people toxic in every game, but heaven forbid I say anything back else I get banned. Sure say reports escalate, and I had to have been pretty toxic to get to this point. I am not a Buddhist monk, I am not a simple robot, nor am I some absent minded full of flowers hippie that will take toxicity and politely ask for more.

Screw your system, screw your ignorance in your system, and screw your game.

If by "saying something back" you mean verbally abusing and harassing them then yes you can get punished for that. You already received multiple chances to change your behavior for the better and chose not to. Not only that but you were told in your 14-day Reform Card that the next infraction would result in a permanent ban.

Yes some people are trolls, but fighting fire with fire solves nothing and only gives them the reaction they wanted. You're not expected to be perfect (no one is) but you are expected to be the bigger mature person and not retaliate back and then expect the "they started it" excuse to work if you get punished. If you would like to discuss your punishment then please post your entire unedited chat logs here in this thread. Otherwise in the future if someone is acting up in chat just mute, report and move on.

P.S. Speaking of the mute button it is not a get out of jail free card and is only meant to be a bandaid solution at most. P.S.S. No, not everyone is toxic in every game, but it can sure seem that way if your response to poor behavior is to lash out as well. If you're encountering toxicity in all your games then the problem most likely is you since you are the only person who is always in all of your games.

Does responding to the toxicity ever do anything good for you? If you are really dealing with a troll, then they want to get an outburst from you.

So why give them what they want? It's only going to add to the toxicity and you are essentially letting them win by giving them what they want, retaliation.

I think you are in the wrong and should listen to your own opinion.

"why punish people for retaliating when anyone can mute anyways?"

You should just mute the person that is tilting you, nothing is forcing you to retaliate but your own conscious self.

You were explicitly told that you would be banned after your 14 day ban.

you don't have to be perfect and you are allowed to get upset but not to the point that you harass others or use hateful speech. you can say "this game sucks", "you're being a jerk, leave me alone" "shush". and you're right there is a mute button. you want others to use it? sounds like you need it. if you can't see what they're saying then you can't respond right?
