Banned for LoLWiz?

Hello, Riot

I need some help. About 2 months ago, I installed a program called LoLWiz, and I'm sure you've heard of it. Before I installed it, I made sure that it was allowed, and sure enough, Riot Sargonas had a post saying it was allowed. Is it now illegal? My account was just suspended for "3rd party programs," and I don't understand why. And also, I am 100% sure that is the only 3rd party program I used and cannot think of anything else why I would be banned for "3rd party programs." Thank you for taking your time to deal with this issue.

pretty sure he said they could change their stance with that program that's why i never bothered with it

I never did change it though, unless I am blind... item 3070 If my permanent suspend doesn't get lifted or something that helps me... I don't know what to do man... League is my life and I even spent money on this.. If this gets that bad, I might just kill myself even though it's just a game. As I have seen in the other forums, Riot never unsuspends no matter what. Well, this problem hasn't gotten this severe yet to the point where I just sit at home and cry. I still have hope!

I understand. I literally will have nothing left for joy if I lose my account. I've had it through thick and thin. Through the last five years of half a dozen family members dying, college, and my dad getting cancer w/ successfully fighting it with surgery and such.

League and the LCS has always been there for me since just after BETA ended (and well when pro started, I started playing around Shaco's release just shortly after BETA ended). I'd lose my shit if I lost my account...

This is exactly why I will never use ANY third party program, even if Riot says it's ok. Just looking at all the threads in this forum about accounts that got banned for it is enough motivation not to.

I doubt it was LoL Wiz, I have it and haven't ever ran into issues with it. Even Dyrus uses it openly on stream with multiple accounts and no issues with it.

Since no one else has brought it up yet: Try submitting a support ticket, just one ticket and wait patiently. Explain that you used LolWiz which was publicly approved in it's current form by Riot staff. If you get a generic response the first time, politely continue the discussion and ask them nicely to do a manual review. They do bans for cheating and third party programs in waves, and sometimes people get mistakenly punished because the system is heavily automated. If they do a manual review of your case and find that you weren't actually doing anything that could be considered cheating or getting an unfair advantage, then the Riot staff will unban your account. It won't happen overnight, so you'll need to be patient and polite with them as you go through the motions.

Yes, I submitted a ticket the minute i found out i was banned. Thank you the advice though. This really helps me because I have pretty much lost all hope. <3 Friend me if i ever get unbanned.

I was also banned yesterday, and used LOLWIZ the only reason why I did it was because I saw the post by riot staff saying it was alright to be used. However I guess not. I submitted trouble ticket and was told make long story short we reviewed your case and are in violation. Banned till year 9001.

Yeah same here... I submitted a ticket but they are taking 4 days to review it.
