Banned for LoLWiz?

Hello, Riot

I need some help. About 2 months ago, I installed a program called LoLWiz, and I'm sure you've heard of it. Before I installed it, I made sure that it was allowed, and sure enough, Riot Sargonas had a post saying it was allowed. Is it now illegal? My account was just suspended for "3rd party programs," and I don't understand why. And also, I am 100% sure that is the only 3rd party program I used and cannot think of anything else why I would be banned for "3rd party programs." Thank you for taking your time to deal with this issue.

pretty sure he said they could change their stance with that program that's why i never bothered with it

I doubt it was LoL Wiz, I have it and haven't ever ran into issues with it. Even Dyrus uses it openly on stream with multiple accounts and no issues with it.

Since no one else has brought it up yet: Try submitting a support ticket, just one ticket and wait patiently. Explain that you used LolWiz which was publicly approved in it's current form by Riot staff. If you get a generic response the first time, politely continue the discussion and ask them nicely to do a manual review. They do bans for cheating and third party programs in waves, and sometimes people get mistakenly punished because the system is heavily automated. If they do a manual review of your case and find that you weren't actually doing anything that could be considered cheating or getting an unfair advantage, then the Riot staff will unban your account. It won't happen overnight, so you'll need to be patient and polite with them as you go through the motions.

I was also banned yesterday, and used LOLWIZ the only reason why I did it was because I saw the post by riot staff saying it was alright to be used. However I guess not. I submitted trouble ticket and was told make long story short we reviewed your case and are in violation. Banned till year 9001.
