Why can't I report someone for picking Anivia ADC/Garen support

Ok so ....I get it... people don't want people being reported for picking non-meta champs. But when the first two picking in a ranked game pick Anivia ADC and Garen support (I mind the Anivia more than the Garen for the record) ...I really feel like I'm forced to dodge. I mean... I have to right?? I don't feel like the people who forced me to dodge shouldn't get punished for locking in completely troll champs. If you want to play anivia...play mid or top .... the concept of an ADC is sort of a meta thing...but not having Attack DMG in your bot lane can cause all sorts of problems. Riot needs to implement a function to do away with this crap. I don't feel like being penalized both time and lp because some idiot wants to play Anivia/Garen bot lane. It's stupid and it's frustrating and while I do understand that we're not trying to penalize people for playing off meta champs... Anivia ADC just isn't a thing... it's not. I can't seem to get through 5 games without someone doing some dumb crap like this. I'd get it if it was normals and it wouldn't be a thing...but in ranked it just seems super troll... why can't people just play right and try to win when they play ranked...why must they troll? I just don't get that mentality at all. I don't see why people feel so happy about causing discomfort and discord in the rest of their team.

Because you have to give them the benefit of the doubt.

Maybe they were duo and they found a tactic that works really well for them. Maybe they found a bug that doubles Garen's spin procs inside of Anivia's ult. Maybe they wanted to support Garen but needed more magic damage. No matter what, as long as they're trying to win, they're protected from reports no matter what they pick; because you have no idea how good that lane is.

Imagine the first person ever to take Morg or Annie or Brand into the support role. People would have tried to report that person for "not playing right and not trying to win" when in reality they discovered something so powerful it shaped the meta. That's the reason why you can't report for off meta picks, they might end up becoming the meta one day.

Sure, you can sit there and complain that Anivia ADC/Garen support will never work, but as soon as some pro team pulls it out at a tourney and kicks ass, that's all you're going to see in bot lane for the next couple months. Hell, we're still seeing MF supports.

Riot has conflicting problems enforcing the meta. The only times they take action if many games are ruined but its usually do to not communicating with their teams. Example the Highest Mastery Singe which was resolved and cleared up soon afterwards

The meta isn't mean't to followed because its against the Summoners Code. "You cannot Report someone for not following Meta"

I don't see a reason why bot lane should always be AD you can play AD mid too does anybody care about a yasuo for example there? no. I just did an AniviaADC TeemoSUP botlane. and the MissFortune Zyra combo sat at their tower unable to do anything.

so I don't see the problem there just simple hate against not playing META

Anivia is the only champ i play bot, and it fucking works well.. just check my match history. As for garen support, sounds shitty, but i cant really talk since i play a nonconventional bot. I dont play anivia adc, i play anivia bot as an apc. I really wish i could show you like 20 replays of my anivia dominating botlane. Granted im playing with scrubby silvers to golds, but if i was a better player I would play it even better, so I dont know. Maybe it wouldnt work at all in plat+, but in silver, anivia bottom kicks dicks.

Ill give you the benefit of the doubt and not get defensive over you calling me an idiot or troll. I dont do it to troll... i do it to win. It wins lane. If there are NO ad champs, then yeah i might play an adc, unless the other team is lacking tanks. Because i know its not all about just my lane. I do want the team to be well rounded. But with 350k mastery on anivia, i perform much better botlane with her than with a traditional adc champ. Sometimes my friend wants to play mid, if youre wondering why i dont just go mid. I do play her mid too. Not top though... cuz my urgot does much better against top laners.
