So, just played my first game in gold in 7 years of playing this game. 2:45 in our Cait gives up First Blood and proceeds to run it down. this tilts our top lane who engages in a flame war with them while also running it down. meanwhile im sitting mid lane wondering whats gotten into them. Is this normal for that Elo?
No not at all. jungler ganks your lane just to give your opponent a free kill Now it's perfect.

You will encounter that at all elos, but one thing to note is that Gold this season isn't any different from mid Silver last season.
Any elo is like that.
What players don't realise that it's elo hell in any elo. You find afkers, rage quitters and trolls in every single elo.
Also smurfs, boosters and boosted accounts. There's really no difference in elo, no matter where you climb the games are always the same.

No, its very uncommon for me. Because I'm usually the ADC and I never run it down! Jokes aside, its pre-season. I heard that a lot of people are trolling in pre-season ranked right now. Avoid it or deal with it, if you want to continue playing. I'd suggest playing normals until the new season begins unless you really want to work up your MMR.

people think Gold is like Master elo ... lol its not actually true. iron to silver are the new players. gold to plat are the toxic players that are stuck there because of their ignorance. from Diamond 2 and above are people that actually trying to win games xD
