First ban = Permanent

So today I was banned on my account for verbal abuse permanently. I probably deserved the ban because I did say some bad stuff but I have NEVER been banned before on this account. Did I deserve a permanent ban for my first ban? I said braindead and kys which are very toxic but it's not fair that the game banned me permanently. I can understand being banned permanently after like 3 normal 7 day bans. Also do Riot Games track ids because I was permanently banned on another account on the same ip.

You don't get an instant perma even for saying "kys"...What actually happened?

Being permanently banned on the first punishment, even for zero-tolerance phrases such as "kys," is not normal. I'm not accusing you of anything here - but did you make any threats of violence, dox anyone, or do anything else pretty egregious? Were you perhaps punished for using third-party software, which is an instant permanent ban when detected?

You should contact Riot support for clarification.

X for doubt You can never get insta perma banned for toxicity. There is always at least 1 punishment before that (14 day ban) The punishment system goes like this: 10 game chat restriction -> 25 game chat restriction -> 14 day ban -> perma ban If you're completely 100% sure that you've never had a 14 day ban before on your account, i recommend you to contact riot support

I think they can tell when youre smurfing or make a new account. They probably know your history and youre not changing your behavior one bit, still fucking with their other paying customers. So theyre removing you AGAIN. You will probanly keep coming back and they'll just keep removing you, as they probably should. No business would allow a patron to tell other patrons to kill themselves and harass them in their space. Be it a bar, a grocery store, a cellphone store, whatever. I could be wrong about them doing it due to your behavior on other accounts though, its just an educated guess.

First off, 7 day ban don't exist anymore: it's just 14-day ban and permanent ban with chat restrictions coming before them. That aside you shouldn't need a warning to know that telling others to kill themselves is unacceptable anywhere, and thus you shouldn't be surprised you got in trouble here for it. Make no mistake though this game would still be punished even without the "kys" as you're just being a verbally abusive jerk in it.

As for your claim of Riot tracking IPs, they don't do that (to my knowledge), but what they do do is they can track peoples smurf accounts and can tell if an account is the same person or not.

Under normal circumstances this kind of poor behavior would earn a 14-day ban first punishment if the account had no priors, but given that this is an alt of yours that also happens to be low level it should come as not that surprising that this is the outcome that happened, especially if this kind of behavior was common on your main as well.

Receiving permanent ban on verbal abuse grounds and on first punishment means you typed something so utterly vile it was able to skip past 2 levels of chat restriction, the 14 day ban, and straight into perma. I don't even know if null straight to perma is even possible, since usually, 14 day ban is as high as you can get to on first punishment.

That or, you were pressed other charges at the same time, such as inting or cheating which on first punishment is a 14 day ban. And then you immediately got the verbal abuse charges and thus served a perma.

You can send a support ticket to Riot to ask for a breakdown of your punishment if you have to know why.

I would think zero tolerance actions(such as telling someone to kill themselves, threatening them, or being racist),** IN CONJUNCTION **with other toxicity, could result in an instant permaban. What I mean is if you just said one racist word, or one line of "I hope you kill yourself", and then didn't say anything else, you might have been given a warning ban first, but not only did you break a zero tolerance boundary, but you kept on spamming, breaking more rules and being rather repugnant.

But to be honest, you shouldn't need a warning-ban to know not to be absolutely abhorrent, even if it's just one word or phrase. Hopefully you learn something from the permaban, but seeing as how I doubt this is your main account, you won't. You'll just keep making new accounts to be toxic on. This is why people should start getting IP banned.
