Rioter afks In match, causes lp loss

So this past game I had a rioter in it, this rioter went Sona adc, we had a lux support. It was close but we were winning at about the 20 minute mark. Their Vladimir was fed as he had gotten kills off of roaming, then started killing me, playing as Azir vs a fed Vladimir is not fun. At one point in the game, we lose a single team fight and our Sona, who works for riot afks. We lose the game because of the Afk but we actually won a 4v5 team fight which makes me think that we would have won the game with her there.

Has riot fallen so far that even their employees afk in ranked games?

I reported the player but I doubt anything will be done due to it being a riot employee.

What are you expecting here, them to be fired and publicly shamed? They're still players even though they work for Riot, and unless they have a pattern of leaving games, they're not going to get punished for one instance - same as everyone else. The midwest is having some pretty bad weather these last few days - what if they lived there and had to leave for a tornado warning?

Send a support ticket; Rioters are held to a higher standard as being professionals and are suppose to set an example. Expect action to be taken if your description of his behavior is true

If it actually was a Rioter and they actually did say what you said they said, then they arent exempt from punishment. They're supposed to set an example. Submit a support ticket with the details and have someone take a look at it.

Rioters are held to the same if not higher standards when it comes to their in game behavior. Submit a ticket if you did not report them in game.
