Yo, this kid was feeding on purpose and saying he was going to be afk all game. Then in chat he specifically said he intentionally wanted me to get reported. I was saying stuff in chat to him of course. Point is, I get a 14 day suspension, but they get no punishment at all for asking the other team to report me and intentionally feeding? They should have also received some sort of punishment.
Zezockary1 votesYou wont know if they were punished or not, you don't always get notified for it. Calling for reports is against the rules but not enough by itself to trigger a punishment.
What should be important to you is your own punishment and how you can improve in the future. Keep in mind that the 14 day suspension is your final warning and the next punishment for any severity of toxicity is a permanent suspension.

According to Riot BarackProbama here: "On the reporting front: It doesn't matter what the ultimate source of the punishment is, man or machine: The system will issue feedback to reporting players." Imo that means that everyone involved with the punishment gets the "Player has been punished" message. Tantram says pretty much the same here.
To OP: IFS is slower/inefficient to catch gameplay related incidents, so even if the player you reported hasn't been punished yet, he might still be at some future day. Of course, that is of little comfort to you with your 14-day suspension. I can only advice you to stop saying anything that can be taken negatively in chat, because once you have been punished, you will be more lightly punished in future - or that is what the rumor says at least. And after 14-day suspension comes permanent suspension...
HeroOfFerelden1 votesIf I was the only one to be punished and the other person got no punishment even though he was also at fault, then the system is flawed. If they did get punished, then I am at peace. Final warning? I never even got a first warning. This is the first suspension I have ever received. I was targeted out of spite. This person also attempted to get the enemy team to report another player who had done and said nothing wrong during the same game.
Zezockary1 votesIf you used any zero tolerance words or phrases (racism, homophobic slurs, encouragement of self harm, etc) then your first warning is a two week suspension, and is also your final warning.
Normally you get two tiers of chat restrictions before the two week suspension.
