Riot, we need to be able to honor enemies as well again. Please?!

Gonna be a bit of a textdump here, but long story short; Enemy player got a role they didn't want, target banned one of their teammate's hovers to try and discourage them from playing ADC (The role THEY wanted), and then locked their own champ without discussing the situation. Proceeded to say 'You're all trash anyway we'd lose if I wasn't ADC' and then forced their Ashe to not only play a champ they didn't want to, but also deal with verbal harassment now and again during the game.

These poor folk who had to endure that but kept such a positive attitude and didn't flame or rage definitely need to be given tiltproof honors from more than just the other 3 people on their team. I want to give it to all of them. They handled this maturely despite having an AFK (Presumably from all of the trash talking, since I killed them twice in lane. Sivir likely spared no insults) and honestly the fact that it's been more than two seasons and I still can't honor enemies is tilting me. :(

[Ashe]: I didnt even notice the ban until my pick, and then noticed the sivir and was very confused [Alistar]: I think most everyone in the game reported them, so hopefully Lilac Lacroix: You should take this case to the Support Team as well. [Ashe]: I hope so too. So toxic. What ever, thanks for the report and good luck to you Lilac Lacroix: Point them out. Red flag. It'll get them looked at sooner and possibly banned outright. Lilac Lacroix: If you have screeanshots or a copy-paste of what they said it helps more but Riot gets all of their logs anyway. I agree that we should actually think of an honor option for the enemy. I think riot games is afraid that people will trow games for honor if they are slightly behind.

I agree, we used to be able to honor the other team in the past. I realize the system is now different so I'm not sure how allowing honor from the other team would fit into the new system. Maybe it can be its own system. There are plenty of times I want to honor an opponent but can't.

I agree we need to be able to honor enemies the system is broken anyway because ive been stuck at the same tier since release (got up to the last of green but even though I get honored almost every game it wont push me through to purple) also you should've published the persons name so that riot could issue a ban that type of behavior is unacceptable whether its in draft or ranked. I just went through a game with 2 afk's and a bming toplaner so I have short patience rn for this kind of stuff. I actually just finished posting my own post about people not getting harsh enough punishments in ranked for bad behavior

People have been asking for honorable opponent since honor was in beta.

Intentionally feeding gets you a lot of honorable opponents. When it used to be a thing, the enemy would tell a feeder "I'll honor you if you run it down MY lane too."

I think it should of been kept as honoring enemies only because right now in Aram for one you have duo and groups of friends joining together and no matter how well you play ......their buddy gets the honor ......I quite often find that tanking is very underappreciated especially in aram ....we all want to go out there and lay waste to the enemy but if your a good tank you know the best way you can help your team is to pull the attention to yourself so your damage and heals are left alone ,,,,but most players don't even seem to realize the strategy and the fact your not building items so you have max damage your building items to try be a meat shield for your team as long as possible but do you get honored?

Hardly ever , its usually the adcs supports or just who ever got a triple quad or penta ......when you honored the enemy it was acknowledged from them more than it is from your own team and I find that sad ......
