I no longer feel comfortable playing ranked to the best of my ability

Background Information I own 2 accounts, my main account on EUW which is currently Gold III 86LP and this account which was originally to play with a friend on EUNE who no longer plays on EUNE. Anyway this is an account I occasionally play on if I feel anxious playing on my main account (this was not intended as a smurf just an account where I would just play and not worry how I did).

Description of how ranked went About a month ago I hit lvl 30 on this account and thought to myself, "I wonder where I would get placed on an account that hadn't played ranked before". So I decided that I would play these games seriously and try my best. 6 games into placements after getting 2 losses on support annie (putting me at 3-3) where I felt I could not have a big enough impact on the game to beat opponents I considered worse than myself I decided that I wasn't going to fill I was going to pick a position where I felt I could carry against weaker opponents. It worked and I managed to win the rest of my placements which placed me in gold V (7 wins, 3 losses). Later I played some more ranked games and won 4 games which put me in promos. I lost the first game and won the next 2 which got me promoted from gold V to gold III (putting me at 13 wins, 4 losses).

**Why I am annoyed (Spoiler alert this is a bit of a rant) ** I logged on to this account yesterday and was told my account was suspended for MMR boosting. As I am the ONLY person to have even played on this account this news was very frustrating to hear. So I told myself it was probably just an algorithm that was surprised with my performance and submitted a ticket to riot games support under technical difficulties - other as none of the categories seemed appropriate. In this I described what had happened and explained that I was the only person that had used this account as the only places I have played on this account from is my home and my term time address (where I live while I am studying at Uni). I also explained that this was consistent with my EUW account (the name of my EUW account was in the support ticket). Also note I can prove to riot I live at both addresses if necessary. A riot employee replied with

"Hello [Insert Name Here],

Your suspension was only issued after an extensive investigation was run to ensure your involvement in MMR boosting. As explained in the email you received in response to your suspension, the following actions have been taken on your account:

-A two-week suspension has been issued to your account. -All previous Season rewards (Victorious skins, borders, season icons, season ward skins) have been stripped from your account. -You are ineligible for any 2015 Season rewards

While you may feel that this punishment is too harsh, please realize that having accounts boosted, for whatever reason, ruins the spirit of League of Legends competitive play. While you are ineligible for any rewards in the 2015 Season, this does not disqualify you for anything pertaining to the 2016 Season. Keep in mind that if you have any future involvement in MMR boosting, your account will be permanently suspended.

More information, including the definition of Boosting can be found here: https://support.riotgames.com/hc/en-us/articles/201751834-MMR-ELO-Boosting

[Insert Name Here] Riot Player Support Pro- Baron"

and immediately closed the discussion. The definition of Boosting given in the link is

"MMR Boosting (Match Making Rating, also known as Elo Boosting) is an act where a player (The Booster) logs into another player's account (The Boostee) with the specific purpose of improving the boostee account's MMR."

This generic copy paste response makes me think he didn't even read what I had put. I was arguing that I was the ONLY person to have played on this account so telling me that they have decided I am guilty of "MMR boosting" and giving me this definition without inquiring about proof that it was me and only me that played the games on this account (which I can provide) was not a helpful response.

Why am I posting this I am not posting this because I want my season rewards. I am posting this because this has made me feel genuinely worried that if I play ranked again and do well again I might loose this account and I don't want to have to lvl an account to 30 again (for 2 reasons the first being that lvling an account to lvl 30 for someone who has experience playing this at the start it will match me against other new accounts and I don't want to ruin a new players impression of the stomping them as this may be demoralising for them and may lead to them not wanting to play the game anymore. Secondly when lvling this account after it started to find people of more similar skill (while still pre 30) to me I found it to be a very toxic environment with smurfs flaming people who didn't play to their standards it felt like every game a teammate was flaming another player or someone was saying "report [Insert Player Name] here look at him he is soooo bad" in all chat.). I don't want to head into a ranked game thinking "I better not play too well here otherwise I will get banned" as this is an extremely unhealthy mindset to head into a ranked match with. I really enjoy League of Legends but now I no longer feel comfortable playing ranked games.

TLDR I post this in the hope that the detection of "MMR boosting" improves so that other genuine players do not have to experience this and I hope that myself and others will be able to play ranked again without the fear of loosing an account to false "MMR Boosting" accusations.

It's a tough story to believe when there are so many people claiming they didn't boost, some of which very obviously did.

I will say this: Riot's system isn't judging you just on your win rate. It judges you on many factors, things like what key your flash is on, chat, how many times you right clicked to move to a certain spot, what hotkey you put stuff on, etc. It's not one or two factors, it's several, and it's the kind of thing a person doesn't just adapt to doing differently overnight then swaps back.

Submit a ticket again. They said their MMR boosting punishments are not handed out lightly, and they are going to understand a smurf.
