Toxicity And Why I Was Toxic Too

When I first started playing league, everyone on my team would harass me say the standard things, like; "you're bad, uninstall, report report," etc. I would stop playing for long periods of time, I remember grinding AI bots for my IP so i could just level up my summoner.

Then I started playing with real people.

And its not the sh*t talking that upsets me, because i can handle that. Its the fact that its an offense that can get you chat restricted and possibly banned. So when I'm playing, i try to make a play and die enemy spams "?" "?" "?" "?" "?" "?" "you're bad", I cant do anything, I cant talk shit back. because guess what? you get reported for that.

people in this game intentionally try to tilt you , by spamming those stupid taunts. Why riot included taunts in this game is beyond me. If you have such strong rules against harassment and abusive behavior yet you give players the tools to harass and induce fury in the players they are used on and punish the players who respond with F*** You and things of that nature.

I don't want to mute players, I ENJOY learning from dying and losing games even, but don't taunt me while you're winning. Don't push your victory. You beat me fair and square, do you have to say "GG EZ"? When players try their hardest and someone says "EZ" at the end. God please give me the power to hold back lol.

These tiny comments from players, although not EXPLICIT in content, are little passive aggressive words border lining on insulting and when you react to them it gets even worse.

My advice to players struggling with players like this is to mute them instantly. The second you have that feeling like you want to talk shit to them. just mute them. dont try to win a verbal jousting match, it will end with you tilted, and riot probably giving your account restrictions.

Ive come a long way from constantly cursing at players that do this to me and teammates, i still slip up every now and then but not at the level which i used to.

This game is fun. I think its great but players who are a part of the taunting group, and passive aggressive intentionally tilting comments you can all disappear. And i hope one day it just ends.
