Permabanned after 8 months away because of three trolls

I took about 8 months away from the game, because I felt myself getting infected with the toxicity of the community. I started lashing out, becoming more toxic myself, and after a chat ban, I decided it'd be best for me to take some time off and get some perspective. So, I came back earlier today, and joined a normal blind pick game just for fun.

Well, after 8 months of not playing, my jungle was not great. As soon as I gave up a kill, my team immediately lit into me. I pointed out that our Teemo support had actually died first, and further explained that this was my first game back after a long break. The other team joined in with my team and began ripping on me, calling me "trash" and a "crybaby", constantly asking if I had ragequit yet. Well, this went on for the entire game, and I started taking shots at them back in kind - just nonsensical troll stuff like "git gud" and so on, no cursing.

So, after the game is over, my teammate starts calling for everyone to report me. They apparently did, because I came back, and found my account, which has been left unattended for 8 months, permanently banned. Seriously, is this worth a permanent ban? This is absolutely bizarre, and you can't even see the rain of verbal abuse I endured that elicited this reaction. How will this game keep going if the trolls and the aggressors are fine, but the victims are banned? Isn't there some kind of appeal? I'm just absolutely dumbfounded by this.

"All you've done is talk trash and complain" is far more apparent in alot of other users My guess is as you said 1st game back after months of not playing you were im guessing banned for 14 days prior to the long break you played 0 games in 8 months so you were still locked on high priotity watch list or something like that for league So over 8 months of no games you came back had 1 mild(like very mild almost nothing wrong, aside from the trash comments imo) But the system had you flagged for watch list Is my best guess Submit an appeal or ask a rioter to review your case I hear tantram is a solid worker (as are all the riot staff, his name just comes to mind 1st on PB&M)

Actually, now that I think about it, I'm pretty neutral about this. That game was so incredibly unfun, I really can't justify making an effort to rejoin this. I just think it's a shame that the ban system is so ham-fisted about what they do.

Why didnt you mute all at some point? You wouldnt have to deal with the bullshit that way.
