Latest patch removed "kindredwolf" [crash]

Tried to play a game as Kindred after the last update, and repeatedly crashed with the bug report saying "An essential game asset was not found when loading the game: kindredwolf".

Anyone else have trouble with this? Hadn't run into anything prior to the last patch update. Looking forward to my upcoming punishment from the Leaver Buster system...
