I've had as many account bans as Tyler 1. Or more, I dunno, but I have a serious self control issue. I act on impulse, IRL and in league. Went to a therapist half a year ago and I ended up being told I had some psychopathic traits. I stopped going, because after 3 sessions, said therapist did nothing to help me. I have already disabled my enter key using AHK, and made chat invisible, but I can still go into task manager and close the AHK script, and flame. Can someone help write a script that, while the League Client is open, task manager is disabled? I think this is my first step in learning how to control my impulses.

I stopped going, because after 3 sessions

A therapy needs more than 3 sessions to start having any effect. Go back there or you will hurt someone someday. A script in a video game will never fix your mental problems.

learning how to control my impulses

Disabling the chat won't help you control your impulses, it' more like a punishment to yourself.

Let's say you have a dog that pulls strongly at its lead when you walk it, you won't fix that with removing the leash. Let's say you want to quit doing heroin, it's way easier to use substitution than it is to just try to hide your needles. ... ...

I stopped going, because after 3 sessions, said therapist did nothing to help me.

After 3 sessions ?! It's a joke ?

  • Therapy isn't something that will magically fix your issues in 3 hours.
  • Sometimes you'll need to see a few different therapists until you find one that better suits your needs.
  • Try Cognitive behavioral therapy, try hypnosis, try other solutions but don't give up like that...

Do you also have a toxic personality outside league ? Are you often passive/aggressive ? jealous ? Do you often blame other people or other things instead of yourself ? Would you be that toxic if like your girlfriend was playing with you ? How does your friends/GF react to that behavior ? Are you like that dude ?

Do you even know why you act like that ?

Clearly disabling the chat doesn't work since you even try to put it back up when you're mad. I seriously believe that toxic people aren't just toxic in league.

If you're only toxic online without being even passive/aggressive irl you should try to realize that you're talking to other people, if you're not able to be as toxic irl it makes you more a coward than anything, you're hiding behind your computer, try to see it like that.

** Some people genuinely have emotional problems and the sad consequence is that they have become marginalized in their own lives because of it. However, online they can be powerful. They can bully, berate and hector everyone in all the ways they can't do in real life**. It might be your case.

Do you even want to stop being toxic ? It seems like you're trying but you just give up as soon as possible.

Anyway good luck working on that.

you need more than 3 sessions of therapy to work. try it for more like 3 months at least.

meditation and self realization is the only way to reform. realize that your flaming is irrational and YOU are not as good as you think you are period, realize that if you wan't to get good at the game and climb then the most logical way to do so is ONLY focus on your mistakes and no one elses because others are irrelevant to you climbing. coming from someone who had 30+ banned accounts and is now reformed. smoke weed or take some lsd to raise your self awareness and ask yourself why you flame and you will get to the root cause

It really comes down to how you view things. If you never change your view of them, then you will always react by flaming.

Teammates make mistakes, people rage, games get lost. It's all human nature. You've got to realize this and separate the actions of your teammates from their actual intentions. Many players are not trying to int, many of them are just frustrated and making mistakes. The more you can understand your fellow players' natures, the better you will get at writing off their actions instead of getting angry at them.

I have some stuff written somewhere about how to lead teammates in ways that will make them listen to your calls and want to work with you. If you want me to share it just let me know and I can go dig it up.
