says the jungler on my team, post-lobby.

Here's the quick rundown...

Halfway through game, enemy Irelia's pushing bot lane with 2 waves of minions, at our 2nd turret. I ping and go to bot lane to stop her (it's Irelia, who would let an Irelia split push?). My team decides to go do baron. They get jumped near finishing, enemy team gets it. I'm immediately pummeled with insults and told that I single-handedly threw the game by apparently making them do baron and dying. Then I'm told I'm getting reported for verbal abuse after being called an "idiot" and "retard", but not once returning an insult. Rest of the game is them constantly complaining in chat about that one situation, causing everyone to tilt, and we lose.

Does this make any sense to people? I seem to meet guys like this at least every other game. Why do people have to ALWAYS find a scapegoat for their own actions?

If they can't blame another person, they would be forced to admit that they are partially at fault.

The bane of most NA players is ever being wrong in a decision. You did the right thing, just remember not to counter flame. Just mute/report them and move on.

If you are seeing these people alot, you might want to look in the mirror and see what the common factor in those games are.

I had this ADC that said in pre-game lobby "I got trolls in my past 8 games", low and behold he started flaming the support after a bad trade (not even death) and the support started to roam. The adc then goes "why do I always get trolls on my team".

I make a point not to flame since I got a 14-day ban 2 seasons ago and didn't get my rewards.

Then why not try to work towards calming the situation down before it gets to the unstoppable point?

I get teammates that taunt me or are just generally aggressive almost every game, whether I am feeding and trying my hardest, or I am trying my Bard est and have landed almost every stun and give my Miss Fortune advice on when to ult

Edit; Seriously, I was put down when I was being very friendly in a game and then I tell MF "Yeah, you probably shouldn't ult in a 4v1"

She responds with "You shouldn't be trash at playing Bard"

I think it's partly because of how toxic the community is. You could have been saying that in a lighter manner, but MF perceived it as extreme aggression toward her, triggering an abusive comment back at you.

Everybody thinks everybody's out to get them in this game.
