Riot should consider a ban of ranked play only...

The afk rates and in game quit rates in low ELO play seem to have increased to the point where it is rare that I can play a ranked without at least one player from either side being AFK. I have had several games where both teams had a least one AFK each. The in game quitters is even higher. RIOT should consider creating a ranked ban only to help clean up this mess. Ranked play for low ELO has just been a mess so far in season 10. IF you do not find a way to punish this type of behavior, it won't get any better. I have been AFK in a game myself, usually due to connection or game crash issues. So I know that sometimes is is beyond a players control. As such a graduated system like, 1 hour, 1,2,3,4,5 days, 1,2,3,4 weeks, 2 months, 1 year, etc., would help clear out the some of the game ruining problem of players bailing on a game, for whatever reason. Think about it RIOT.

I love how the common solution to afk/trolls/toxic players in ranked always seems to be "Force them into normals!" and then usually when asked why the response is typically "Because they're norms and no one cares about norms".

News flash, people don't want them in normals either. There needs to be harsher punishment for malicious afks. However, until a way is detected to better judge if it is malicious, there is going to be trouble.

I don't know what the solution is for afkers in ranked, but I do agree that something needs to be done about it. Interestingly enough, had more afks in ranked than in normals.
